Chapter 31
The man’s lackeys wanted to shoot her, but the man laughed lecherously. “Well, damn, a teenage girl throwing herself at me? That’s new. Nobody move–I’m catching this one myself.”
He looked at Regina’s skirt excitedly.
She lifted her skirt slightly to reveal her black shorts underneath.
The man was slightly stunned.
At the same time, she aimed at his head with her sword.
Immediately, he took a few steps backward quickly.
In the blink of an eye, she changed the direction of the blade and cut off his cyberware arm.
The metal limb hit the ground with a clang.
He cried out, “Shit! I’ve just got this one arm days ago!”
Adrian was shocked, and so was Denton.
Jessica covered her mouth, having goosebumps all over. “Gee!”
Everyone was stunned at how fast Regina was.
Taking the chance, Regina wanted to stab the green–haired man, but his lackeys pulled him away.
She missed, but it didn’t faze her. Face blank like a machine, she kept after him.
His goons raised their guns, ready to fire.
Adrian was terrified. “Regina! Find cover!”
Yet she raised the titanium sword, blocked all the bullets, and quickened her pace to chase after the man and his lackeys.
Adrian and Denton’s jaws hit the floor.
Jessica stuttered, “She… Did she just block the bullets?”
Her friends nodded in shock. “It… seems right.”
Regina zeroed in on one of the lackeys, swinging her sword. In a flash, red blood and the blue cyberware fluid sprayed everywhere.
The blood was all over the green–haired man’s face. His legs became weak, and he looked at her in horror, thinking, ‘Seriously? She blocked all those bullets?!
Meanwhile, an urgent voice came from his Bluetooth headset. “Tiger! Stay away from that girl! You are no match for her!”
Tiger was stunned, and his voice trembled. “Why?”
The bald guy, tangled up fighting security guards, couldn’t see Tiger–just Regina tearing after him.
He yelled, breathless, “She’s that psycho from Underground who’s never lost a boxing match!”
Tiger’s pupils shrunk at once as he looked at Regina approaching him.
He thought, ‘She’s the warrior woman who hasn’t lost a fight since she stood in the ring?
‘She’s the one that everyone in Underground knows?
She’s my freaking idol?!
Meanwhile, Preston slouched in the floating car, staring out the window.
One of the teens piped up. “Did all our parents seriously go watch Regina’s unplant today? They’re way too into her.”

Chapter 31
The other teenage boy nodded. “Yeah I’ve never seen my parents like this
They’re not curious. They’re investigating, another teenager smiled. “After all, she’ll be one of us in the future, and obviously, she’s more capable than us. Surely, they want to see what will become of her and be on good terms with her.”
The teenager then looked at Preston with a smile. “Preston, aren’t you curious about her?”
Roy, who was checking his phone, paused and looked at Preston seemingly casually.
Preoccupied. Preston leaned against the window. “Not at all. There’s nothing special about her. And don’t bring her up again. I’m not interested in her or anything related to her
Clive and Brad swapped a glance but kept their mouths shut, not calling him out.
Suddenly, a gentle robotic voice rang out in the floating car.
Then a calm robotic voice chimed in. “Attack detected nearby. Adjusting route. Incident location: Blackthorn Hospital.”
Everyone’s faces dropped.
Their parents were at Blackthorn!
Roy ordered. “Land at Blackthorn Hospital!”
The voice cut back, “Warning: Active attack at Blackthorn Hospital. Accessing authorized surveillance at the gate. Please assess and decide.”
The screen lit up with live footage from outside the hospital.
Security guards were locked in a brutal scrap with the gangsters. The thugs were playing dirty, overwhelming the guards–tons of them were already down
The robotic voice spoke again. “Attack confirmed at Blackthorn Hospital gate.
“Police en route, ETA three minutes. Please confirm: proceed to location?”
Roy lost his patience. “As I said…”
“Roy!” Brad yelled, cutting him off. “Look at the screen–who’s that?”
