Michael hadn’t expected her to make such a request, and his deep,

“Can I touch you anywhere?” Josephine tilted her head to look at him. Her dark, bright eyes shimmered under the candlelight like crystals.
Michael’s gaze grew even darker as he pondered thoughtfully.
Earlier in the evening, Winry had once again come to his office, insisting on seeing him. She even handed a note to his secretary, accusing Josephine of pretending to be foolish to lower his guard and seduce him

Such absurd accusations didn’t even warrant belief from Michael. He glanced at the note, crumpled it into a ball, tossed it aside, and had Winry sent away.

Without betraying any emotion, he nodded.
He wanted to see what Josephine was planning to do.
With his permission, Josephine boldly extended her hand to untie his tic.
Michael was currently dressed in just a shirt and slacks. His crisp white shirt was spotless, with obsidian cufflinks gleaming coldly, exuding the refined and restrained aura of a business clite.
He watched as Josephine’s slender fingers fumbled with his black tie, unable to untie it after several attempts. With a slight motion, he reached out to loosen the tie with his long fingers. Yanking it off, he tossed it aside, giving her an amused glance.

Josephine knew he was mocking her. Without looking at him, she quickly moved to unbutton his shirt and ‘pulled it open.
Beneath the partially opened shirt was a well–defined chest with a healthy sun–kissed tan, causing Josephine’s face to flush and her heart to race,
Her gaze lingered on the area near his heart.
That day in the bathroom, she hadn’t gotten a clear look. Now she could see it clearly–a scar from heart surgery marked Michael’s chest.
Zendaya had mentioned that he had a heart condition and that his heart had always been weak.
Steadying herself, Josephine placed her small hand over his chest.
The powerful heartbeat beneath the firm muscles thudded rhythmically against her palm.
Drawing on her years of medical experience, Josephine quickly diagnosed his heart problem.

His heart was indeed weak–stagnant blood flow and blocked heart vessels, causing chest tightness and irritability.
Michael leaned back lazily in the chair, his eyes growing increasingly deep and cold.
Interesting. I haven’t even made a move, yet she is already in much a hurry.
Winry had said was true. Josephine was pretending to be foolish to get close to him. In reality, she was just like other women–wanting to sleep with him, then use that to win his favor and gain access to his wealth and power.
Michael didn’t care about his wealth. For a woman he liked, everything he owned would be hers. What he couldn’t stand was being manipulated.
After diagnosing Michael’s condition, Josephine prepared to withdraw her hand.
Suddenly, her wrist was gripped tightly by a large hand.
Josephine looked up and saw the man leaning toward her, his narrow black eyes filled with mockery.
“Why stop now, Mrs. Jaywalker?” he said sarcastically. “Didn’t you want to touch me?”
He pressed her hand back against his chest, holding it firmly in place.
Seeing the familiar fury in his eyes, Josephine immediately shook her head.
“Stop pretending. Michael’s eyes turned even colder, and he suddenly stood up, placing both hands on the table and looming over her. “Josephine, you’ve worked so hard to play dumb and get close to me. Isn’t it all to seduce me? And now you’re playing hard to get?
His bloodshot eyes were filled with viciousness, as though he would tear her apart.
Josephine was trapped within his arms. Remaining calm, she looked up at him and said, “You’ve misunderstood me. I’m not-”
“Not what?” Michael interrupted coldly. “You’ve been touching my chest for half the night. Isn’t it to seduce me so you can sleep with me? Congratulations, you’ve succeeded!”
With a sweep of his hand, he knocked the bowls and plates off the table. Then he pressed her down onto
the table.
They shattered on the ground with a loud crash.
He had thought she was naive, but in the end, he was the one being played!
“It’s not like that, Mr. Jaywalker. I wasn’t trying to seduce you. I wanted to treat your condition…” Josephine was breathless under his weight, panicking as she struggled. She had only wanted to diagnose and treat his heart problem.
“Oh?” Michael raised an eyebrow, his eyes dark and devoid of emotion. “How considerate of you.”
He couldn’t believe she was so cunning. She even knew about his hidden illness and had pretended to be a fool just to get close to him!
His illness made him unable to touch women, except for her.

With a loud rip, Michael tore off her dress and threw it aside, leaning over her and staring at her intently.
He would grant her wish, but he wasn’t planning on marrying her anymore.
If she dared to manipulate him, she would have to pay the price!
