Chapter 65
Regina woke to the noise and, with a sleepy glance, saw two men lying at the feet of the Hayes brothers under the dim moonlight.
Liam casually plunged his mantis blade into one man’s shoulder.
The man squirmed in silent agony, unable to utter a word,
She turned away and caught sight of Stephen’s prosthetic eye glowing faintly red. It seemed his prosthetic eye was suppressing their cybernetic bodies, rendering them silent
Julian, meanwhile, stepped on one of them with his boots, flipping through their phones with practiced indifference.
Aside from a single scream, the Hayes brothers dealt with the intruders in complete silence, as if it were nothing more than routine.
Regina attempted to sit up, but her exhaustion weighed her down.
The moment she lifted her head, it fell heavily back onto the pillow.
The three brothers didn’t realize she had woken up and quietly tried to drag the two unconscious intruders away.
Regina’s faint voice broke the silence. Thank you…
The three froze in their tracks, turning back to stare at her in astonishment
Regina didn’t open her eyes. Instead, she drifted back into a deep sleep, murmuring softly, “Thank you for helping me…”
At that moment, Stephen’s phone buzzed.
“Ding!”

Liam and Julian also noticed the notification.
Three points, just like that?
While they were helping her?”
Stephen rubbed his chin thoughtfully. “Does this mean… if we treat her well and take care of her, her points will keep going up!”
The other two didn’t say a word, but the look in their eyes hinted at silent contemplation, as though they were weighing something significant.
Stephen glanced at the screen again, smirking faintly. “If this is how it works, I might as well test it.”
Early in the morning, Regina Mitchell opened her eyes groggily.
Through the hazy sunlight, ishe noticed a shirtless man with medium–length hair busy installing glass in her room
His movements were methodical, his toned muscles outlined in the light. He wore work gloves, straight blue jeans, and a black belt slung casually around his waist.

At two or three in the morning, it was still long, she muttered in he heart. ‘How did it get shorter in just a few hours?
Stephen’s face lit up with excitement. “You noticed!”
He leaned closer, his freshly washed, naturally fluffy medium–length curls bouncing with the movement, and the subtle scent of shampoo wafting around him.
