I only glanced at it once before Julian snatched his phone back. He decisively blocked Jonathan, refreshed the page and handed me the phone. Let’s look at the studio’s profile instead?

Now, Jonathan looked down at the freshly folded roses in his hand, the corners of his lips lifting without him realizing.
He knew I had a soft heart. I’d definitely forgive him this time, too.
He’d specifically chosen the came–colored paper as before and even deliberately made a small cut on his finger.
He could already picture it: me scolding him for being a fool again, half angry, half worried.
As the plane was about to land, he repeatedly practiced his apology. “Daphne, I know I was wrong … “X

Dean took a deep breath and suddenly changed his tone, speaking kindly to Wendy. “Wendy, why don’t you take your mother back to rest first? Jonathan and I need to talk alone.”
Once Wendy and her mother had left, Dean’s expression instantly darkened.
That performance was just an act for Wendy and her mother, a temporary way to appease them.!!
“Dad, I won’t marry Wendy,” Jonathan said directly, knowing his father’s intentions. “In going to bring Daphne back.”
Dean scoffed coldly “Bring her back?”
He slowly adjusted the cuff of his hospital gown. “The Lancasters fell from grace a long time ago. Daphne can’t even have kids anymore. There’s no point in getting involved with her again.”
