“Vincent, are you crazy?!” I was startled by his actions
I struggled, trying to escape Vincent’s grip, but the man lifted me up and threw me onto the hotel bed.
A chill ran through me as I shouted. “Vincent, are you out of your mind?”
Vincent pressed himself on top of me, and I struggled to push him away. But the difference in strength between a man and a woman was like trying to break a stone with an egg.
As Vincent leaned closer, my stomach chumed, and just as i was about to panic, Darwin suddenly appeared and pulled Vincent off me, landing punch after punch.!

I stood silently and nodded.!
Seeing how close Darwin and I were, Vincent’s eyes turned bloodshot, his anger boiling over. “Sierra, you’re my wife! How can you get so close to this man?!

I called the security, hoping they’d escort Vincent out, but when they saw it was him, they hesitated and didn’t dare make a move.
Darwin casually draped his arm around me and suggested, “Do you want to go to my apartment? I have an extra room.”
I glanced at Vincent’s furious face, then nodded and followed Darwin out.
Behind us, Vincent was shouting and raging, but 1 ignored him completely
When we arrived at Darwin’s temporary apartment, he led me to a bedroom. I thanked him and lay down to rest!
It had been a long and exhausting day, and I was nearly caught up in Vincent’s madness.
Thanks to the tight security at Darwin’s apartment, I wasn’t bothered by Vincent again for an entire week. It was peaceful, and my mind felt clear.!
On Monday, during a new product launch event, I ran into Vincent again.
I instinctively turned to leave, but a large hand appeared on my waist. Darwin stood beside me, elegantly raising an eyebrow at Vincent in a subtle but defiant gesture. “Don’t worry. I’m here. He won’t dare make a move.

I looked up in surprise. It was my first time truly taking in Darwin’s appearance. He was undeniably much better looking than Vincent, and his eyes were like stars in the vast ocean, dazzling and brilliant.
Darwin took my hand and led me to the dessert area. “You woke up early this moming and have been busy all day. You must be starving. Let’s eat a little first, and then I’ll take you out for something nice.”
I was surprised by his thoughtfulness. I often got so caught up at work that I forgot to eat. After his suggestion, I realized just how hungry I actually was.
“Mr. Pierce, someone is looking for you” James came over to report.
Darwin glanced at me apologetically.
Smiling lightly, I said, “It’s alright, you go ahead. Don’t worry, I’ll be fine.”
“Ill pick you up after I’m done.”
“Okay” I nodded.
After Darwin left, I casually picked up a few snacks from the table and ate them. Suddenly, I felt parched and grabbed a glass of red wine, drinking a few sips.
On my way to the restroom, I suddenly felt a pair of eyes staring at me. When I turned around, the piercing gaze disappeared.
I quickly walked into the bathroom, pulled out my phone, and messaged my brother, Stanley
