Xavier returned to the hospital the next day, the rage inside him wanted to bum everything to ashes yet the single thought that the baby inside Julia’s womb might actually be his and she cruelly had sex with other vile men during such a time period made bile rise his throat. He had asked the doctor for a paternal DNA report yesterday and was waiting for the results when he received an urgent call. “Mr.Stone here is the report. We ran two tests just to confirm it.” The doctor hesitated when he saw Xavier’s bloodshot eyes beforcing handing him the tests.

Xavier’s entire world shattered in a matter of minutes

“That can’t be.” Hurrying out of the ward like a madman he saw me moving across the hallway towards another gynecologist’s office: My face glowed despite the hospital’s unseemly atmosphere as I was serenely dressed in a loose pink dress with Killian by my side, his hands clutching my own protectively.
“What is she doing here?”
He stood outside silently, watching through the crack in the door as I entered the consultation room with Killian before being gently settled on the bed with the cool ultrasound gel spread across my stomach.
“Mr.Gray, you are really blessed, Madam Ana is pregnant but–2
“But what doctor, is everything alright?”
“Listening to Killian’s worried voice, the doctor laughed softly.
“Not just alright but it’s great news, I can see two fetuses. Congratulations Mr.Gray you are going to be the father of twins- a baby girl and a boy. 2

Seeing Killian fussing over me, a carefree laughter bloomed from the depths of my heart making Xavier feel miserable.
That sweet laughter could have been his, that family could have belonged to him.

“Ah that well.” Killian glanced at me, his brow raised as I hesitated. “I always wanted to name my daughter Aurora but my son… “Emeret if its a boy we will name him Emeret.” I nodded as the doctors smiled at us.
At this moment Xavier couldn’t breathe.
He remembered me once saying that if we ever had a daughter, I want her name to be pure and beautiful like the moming star venus.
