Chapter 16
Denisse’s complexion was not much better than Madam Hubbard’s.
Aubrie approached her, causing Denisse to step back in fear. Finally, she leaned against the wall and looked at her with fear, saying, “I didn’t know, I really didn’t know anything.”
He pretended, and he is still pretending.
Aubrie wished she could tear her face apart, but that would be too easy.
She looked at Denisse, whose eyes were filled with tears, and said word by word, “Do you think you have won?”
“Sara was killed by you, and from now on, your parents, your children, everyone will remember this fact. You will forever be a criminal, unable to lift your head in front of Sara, and no one will ever unconditionally favor you again.”
Denisse’s face finally showed genuine fear.
She felt her legs go weak and collapsed onto the ground,
Upon seeing this, Aubrie turned around and pushed Sarahi onto the car. Then, she asked the bewildered Jovan next to her, “I have found Sara’s grave for her. You will never find it in your lifetime. Never appear in front of her grave and dirty her eyes!”
Jovan seemed as if his soul had been ripped away, standing in agony in the same spot.
“Is she really… not coming back?”
He didn’t believe it!
Jovan looked around, ignoring the strange gazes from the people around him, and shouted loudly, “Don’t you have a system? Aren’t you not allowed to leave until the task is completed?”
“Why? System, come out. Why didn’t she come back this time?”
Passersby saw him like this and thought he was crazy.
Denisse also looked at him with some fear, carefully grabbing him and saying, “Jovan…”
Jovan suddenly pushed him away.
His eyes were bloodshot as he stared at the spot on Denisse’s chest where Sarahi’s heart was beating.
It all started because of Denisse.
If it weren’t for this surgery, Sarahi wouldn’t have disappeared, and nothing would have happened.
Never before had there been a moment when he regretted as much as he did now.
Denisse was startled and kept stepping back.
She felt that Jovan’s gaze, as if wanting to dig out her heart.
Sent back to the ward again, Denisse’s face was devoid of any color.
Madam Hubbard had already awakened, but she still felt a bit disoriented. As she looked at Denisse on the bed, she suddenly exclaimed, “Sara.”
Denisse’s face immediately turned ugly.
She trembled for a while and suddenly whispered, “It’s all my fault, I caused harm to my sister.”
“I am returning the heart to my sister right away. I am sacrificing my life for her,”
After speaking, Denisse grabbed the fruit knife from the bedside and aimed it at her own chest.
Sir Hubbard quickly stopped him.
Madam Hubbard, who used to be the most doting mother to her daughter, now looked on coldly and said, “Sara is already dead, who are you trying to impress with this appearance?”
Denisse shivered all over.
Madam Hubbard never said such words to her.
Such cold words, when they fell on her, turned out to be so piercing.

Sir Hubbard, with red eyes, said, “This is Sara’s heart, wherever you hurt, you cannot hurt this heart!”
Denisse looked at him in disbelief.
The two loved ones who used to love her the most have both changed their attitudes.
She and the former Sarahi switched positions.
In a panic, Denisse saw Jovan at the door, tears welled up in her eyes. “Jovan, do you blame me too? Do you also think it was me who killed my sister?”
“But I didn’t know anything, why are you blaming me?”
Denisse cried with immense sadness and grievance.
If it were in the past, everyone in the room would have been eager to comfort him.
But now, no one has any action.
Jovan just looked at her and asked, “You really don’t know?”
