As the situation became clearer, I took a moment to reflect.
My initial plan was to let things escalate until Logan’s actions made Rachel turn her back on

Vincent’s family was out of options; they couldn’t get money from Rachel, had maxed out

They were facing imminent bankruptcy, with only loan sharks left to turn to.

I learned from her that Rachel had not only had Logan taken to the police but was also aggressively suppressing Vincent’s small business.

Vincent’s bankruptcy came even faster than I anticipated, thanks largely to Rachel’s efforts.
Once she discovered Maggie’s role in instigating Logan, she unleashed her wrath on
Vincent’s family.
When I went to see the chaos, Maggie was bickering with Logan.
Meanwhile, Rachel was busy selecting a psychiatric hospital for Logan.
She finally agreed to release him only because his days of freedom were numbered.
