Bobby swiftly grabbed my hand and twisted it behind my back. A sharp pain shot through me, leaving me frozen.
“Let go! You’re insane, Bobby!” I screamed, struggling to break free from his grip.
“You started this, Irish!” he hissed, his face red with rage and his eyes burning with hatred. “You left me without giving me anything! You made me lose everything, Irish!”
I could feel his rapid breath on my skin. His body trembled, not from fear–but from a fury that had been festering inside him for far too long.
“My career was destroyed because your friends exposed my secrets. They revealed that I was already married and that Grace was my mistress. My dreams were shattered when I lost my job–all because of you!” his voice rose. “You ruined my life, Irish. And you think I’ll just let you walk away? No! You have to pay for all of it!”
My eyes widened in horror at his next words. “If you won’t give me money, then I’ll use your body to profit from it instead!“}
A chill ran down my spine. Bobby looked deranged. His laughter echoed through the room like a demon released from hell.
“Everything you have now is the result of your own cheating!” I shouted, trying to stay sane. “You should’ve accepted your fate and moved on instead of going mad like this!”
“Shut up!” he barked. “If you resist, I’ll kill you right here, Irish!“N
Tears streamed down my cheeks uncontrollably. The man standing in front of me was no longer the Bobby I once loved. He had changed
consumed by greed and vengeance. He was no longer the man I knew.
I struggled to break free, pulling at my wrist still locked in his grip. Just then, the sound of quick footsteps approached, followed by a commanding voice.
“Let her go right now!” A police officer appeared, aiming his gun directly at Bobby.}]
Bobby hissed, his eyes darting around wildly. “What’s this, Irish? You brought backup? Trying to have me arrested? Well… You’ve become quite brave, haven’t you?“}]
“Yes,” I replied firmly. “This is the result of everything you did to hurt me. Give it up, Bobby.“}
“No!” he screamed. “If I have to die, then you’re coming with me!” He grew even more frantic. Suddenly, he pulled a sharp object from beneath his shirt and pressed it against my neck. My breath caught.
“Let her go, Bobby!” Harry shouted. He had been part of the plan to trap Bobby.}]
Bobby chuckled darkly. “Oh… So he’s the reason you left me, Irish? But wasn’t he also the groom back then? Don’t tell me you ran all this way just to chase after this man–who already had a girlfriend? Hahaha… Pathetic. I told you long ago, I’m the only one who could ever accept you.”
“I left because it was my decision, Bobby!” I fired back, my voice shaking despite my courage. “I was sick of your cheating!”
“Shut up!” he snapped again. The knife in his hand pressed harder against my neck. I could feel the cold metal against my skin.
“i want three billion–now! Or I’ll kill her!” he threatened.”
“Alright,” Harry said calmly, trying to deescalate the situation. “But let her go first.“}
“Transfer the money right now!“}
“Okay!”
I tried to signal Harry not to actually do it, but he didn’t see me. He calmly pulled out his phone.”
“Your account number?” Harry asked flatly.
Bobby recited the number with smug satisfaction. Moments later, a notification beeped on his phone. He laughed triumphantly.” “Good,” he said. “Now you finally understand who-”
Before he could finish his sentence, I saw my chance. Using all my strength, I jabbed my elbow into his stomach. Bobby gasped in pain, stumbling backward and loosening his grip.
I ran straight into Harry’s arms. He pulled me into a tight embrace. I broke down in his arms–I just wanted to feel safe, even if only for a moment.
But we barely had time to breathe when Bobby got up and tried to escape. The police quickly pursued and tackled him to the ground. However, before they could cuff him, he managed to grab a police officer’s gun.
My eyes widened. Everything happened so fast.
“Harry!” I screamed, and without thinking, my body moved on its own.”
Gun sound!!
The gunshot echoed. My body felt hot… then cold. My vision began to blur. “Bella!!!!!” Harry shouted–the last voice I heard before everything went dark.
