Upon hearing her words, Dayton didn’t ask much and simply said, “If work is too tiring, just come back. Seeing you exhausted every day breaks my heart, Catherine. You should know that I can support you.”
Catherine shook her head and said, word by word, “I was not someone’s accessory.”
Dayton was taken aback, “How could it be an accessory…”
Catherine didn’t want to listen anymore and interrupted him, “Why did you come back so early today? Didn’t you go to the office?”
“I have been too busy with work lately and haven’t had time to spend with you. Today, I just want to make time to be with you.” His furrowed brow relaxed, and he transformed back into the doting boyfriend he used to be. “What do you want to do? Have a Western meal or watch a movie? Today, no matter what you want to do, I will accompany you.”

After all, she also knew that he was the heir of the Franco Group and had a lot of work to deal with every day. So he was willing to take time out to accompany her to do what she wanted to do, at least to prove that she occupied a large part in his heart.

After finishing the cleaning, Dayton still insisted on taking Catherine out for a date. She was afraid that he would notice something strange, so she did not refuse again.
He took her out for a meal, watched a movie, and finally the car stopped at an auction venue.

“What’s wrong, did you run into someone you know?”
