So it turned out that all of these people had contact with Naomi
The thought made James” gaze even sharper, like a blade cutting through the crowd, passing judgment. Each time his eyes met someone, they flinched and looked away, unable to withstand his piercing stare.
“How dare a tiny academy like yours act with such impunity!”
His voice trembled with fury. He snatched the black baton from one of his bodyguards and slammed it hard onto the table. The impact caused dust to fly, and the buzzing chatter in the room instantly fell into deathly silence.
“Investigate this!
His bodyguards and the surveillance technician jolted and immediately worked faster.
Finally, the technician’s shaky voice broke the silence. “Found it!”
James exhaled slowly, leaned in, and watched the footage. What he saw made his blood run cold. The surveillance feed was choppy but horrifying
On Naomi’s first day at the academy, staff members slathered habanero pepper paste onto her eyes. She clutched ber eyes, screaming in agony, but was met only with cruel laughter. She banged loudly on the locked door, yet no one came to her rescue,
She was later dragged across the floor at the stairwell–lifeless, like a discarded reg. Her body was completely limp. She didn’t even have the strength to resist.
Ten men entered her room.
At that point, James couldn’t bear to watch anymore.
He hadn’t realized that so many atrocities had taken place in just three short days–all of it because of him.
“Get me all of it. I want every single footage found!”
Naomi, hearing her own tormented cries from the footage, couldn’t stop trembling. She fled her spirit darting through the window, wandering aimlessly.
She drifted along with the wind with her back turned to the academy, trying to steady herself.
The days of electric shocks, abuse, and humiliation–the agony of it all needed to be forgotten.
She promised herself to forget it all as she could no longer cry or scream. She just hoped James would stop.
She screamed into the wind, desperate to summon another wild storm to stop that heartless man.
And somehow, her furious screams worked. The wind rose up, howling fiercely. Then came thunder–sharp, angry bolts of lightning striking Joanine Academy with a deafening roar.
Inside, the staff members froze in terror, too scared to move.

Without hesitation, James raised the baton and brought it down on them, delivering strike after ruthless strike to the restrained men. Their screams out through the broken windows, nearly drowning out the thunder outside.
