call out to Olive all the time when she was a kid.
Olive didn’t say anything. She merely stared at the other woman calmly.
Meanwhile, Masle had finally gotten a good look at the woman standing before her, and her expression tumed to one of honor
The face before her now was drastically different from the one in her memories. This wasn’t the stunningly radiant Olive Swanson at all!
“Ms. Horton, I’ll accept that slap. But from now on, consider whatever ties we had severed. If possible, I never want to see any of your Hortons ever again. I only came here to take back what your brother owes me,” Olive said with a slight smile.
“What a joke! Our bonds were already cut the moment my mother died!” Masie sneered.
“Also, what could my brother possibly owe a convicted criminal like you?”
“My daughter! If he refuses to retum her to me, then I’ll do anything to get her back–even if it means bringing everyone down with me. I have nothing left to lose anyway,” Olive answered flatly, her face pale.
There was an undeniable sense of intimidation peeking through her calm exterior, and Maste actually found this side of Olive a little frightening.
However, her tone was still condescending as she continued, “You’re talking about the bastard child? You don’t actually think that you’re able to the my brother down with a bastard and make him marry you, do you? You’re still as delusional as ever!”
“You’re right. I was indeed terribly delusional before, Olive admitted, her gaze cold as she stood tall,
“But that Olive is dead now. This current Olive only wants to stay far away from Trevor. Even if I die, I’ll die somewhere where he can’t find me. I wouldn’t want him to dirty the road I’m taking into my next life.”
Trevor had just returned from the hospital at that exact moment. As he opened the door of his Maybach, he happened to catch Olive’s brutal words, Anger surged through him, and all the blood inside his body seemed to rush to his head.
This was the second time Oliwe had said that she would die somewhere he couldn’t find her!
He had assumed it was because she felt guilty and thus didn’t dare to face him. But now, it seemed like that wasn’t the case
***I wouldn’t want him to dirty the road I’m taking into my next life‘? You’re truly something, Olive!” Trevor seethed as he got out of the car.
When Alfred saw the chill in Trevor’s eyes, he felt a shiver travel down his sple
“Olive!”
Olive and Masic turned around simultaneously to find Trevor stalling over to them with a grave expression
Masie was naturally delighted to see him, but olive still couldn’t help but feel a sliver of tear. However, for Solana’s sake, she couldn’t be afraid, nor could she
recreat
“Trevor Horton! I’m here to take my daughter backd”
“It seems like she’s my daughter too, Trevor replied coldly,
Hearing this, olive couldn’t help but burst out laughing so hard that tears streamed from her eyes.
She stared at Trevor with a mocking smile. “Your daughter? Do you think you’re even worthy?” she asked with a scott.
