The people at Eterna Group just had to execute its marketing strategies well. Then, it would’ve been logical to ask for three or four times its current price.
Hansen Group might’ve been the leading company in Clementson City, but it wouldn’t have been easy for them to fork out six to seven billion dollars in one go.
“Okay,” Elliot was quite excited. “I’ll bring a team with me and drop by Yvestone Co. in the next two days.”
“Alright.” Joanna nodded. “Close the deal as soon as possible. Don’t drag it out.”

Jeremy was on a business trip, but Joanna didn’t know about it until she was having dinner witty Wendy and Sean several days later.
A major overseas project of Hansen Group ran into an issue, and he had to be there to handle it personally. He probably wouldn’t return to the country until it was resolved completely.
That also meant that Joanna would have an easier time.
Owing to the twins in her belly, she enjoyed a comfortable and worry–free life at the Hansen residence. She also had a personal maid tending to her needs twenty–four–seven. On top of that, Wendy no longer showed her a dirty look.
However, Wendy and Sean weren’t just kicking back and relaxing at home. Both of them were quite busy, and they had all sorts of business meetups at night.
Joanna might’ve been staying in the Hansen residence, but she only saw them during breakfasts and dinners occasionally. Aside from that, Wendy and Sean weren’t even home
most of the time.
Even if they were home during daylight, Joanna didn’t really have to spend time with them. All in all, it was quite okay for her to focus on her pregnancy here.
With that said, when would she be able to divorce Jeremy if this kept up?
The last thing Joanna wanted was for her belly to get too big when she was still at the Hansen residence. It would be a disaster if she couldn’t leave, and Jeremy actually wanted to give her twins away to Nadine.
Joanna had to figure out a way to sever her ties to Jeremy before her belly got too big. Then, she would get out of Clementson City.
As fate would have it, Joanna got the help she needed from the universe.

After staying in the Hansen residence for half a month, she suddenly felt hungry at 10:00 pm one day. So, she went downstairs, looking for food.
Joanna’s room was on the third floor, and she didn’t like taking the elevator. Most of the time, she walked downstairs. The staircase was padded with cashmere carpet too. So, she made no sound when she wore a pair of slippers.
Joanna had just descended to the second floor when she heard Sean and Wendy’s voices from the study’s general direction.
“What? Jeremy has been this cold and indifferent to Joanna because he suspects that she isn’t pregnant with his babies. Are you serious?” Sean asked, sounding shocked. “If that is what he’s worried about, then what makes you so sure that Jeremy fathered the babies in Joanna’s belly?”
“Of course, I’m sure.” Wendy sounded amused and prideful. “Jeremy suspects the kids aren’t his because he has always used a condom every time he slept with Joanna. was wondering what took them this long to get pregnant. It turns out that was the reason. Joanna overheard the conversation and stopped in her tracks out of curiosity.
“If Jeremy had always used precautions, then how did Joanna get pregnant?” Sean sounded confused. “What did you do?”
“What’s with the question? Don’t you want grandchildren?” Wendy’s voice deepened. “I merely asked someone to poke a tiny hole in Jeremy’s condoms. I didn’t think it would be this effective. Joanna got pregnant almost immediately and with twins at that.”
Wendy sounded excited again when she mentioned Joanna having twins.
