“I loved the Kieran who saved me, not the one who has thrown away his principles. for the sake of fame and wealth,” I said
coldly.
“I don’t have more to say. You should leave now. From this moment on, we won’t be seeing each other again.”
At the birthday party, I became the center. of attention. I didn’t care about the slap marks on my face, nor did I mind the curious stares from the guests. My parents briefly mentioned Margot hitting me, which caused quite a stir among the guests. Even those few words sent a clear signal to the public.
That night, the entertainment industry was rocked to its core.
First came the unexpected major

individuals, including the crew and Margot and Kieran. Walton, the head of Velvetline Entertainment, publicly scolded Margot for her misdeeds, causing an uproar online.
As a high–ranking official at Velvetline. Entertainment, Margot would normally retaliate, especially since she likely had compromising information about the company. She had previously threatened Walton, warning him that if he didn’t help her, she‘ d expose him. But when Walton’s announcement hit, Margot‘ s side was eerily silent. It was as if she had vanished from the face of the earth.
The next day, Velvetline‘ s stock price plummeted. Many of its partners distanced themselves from the company, treating it like the plague.
For the following days, the media was buzzing. After the crew members were fired, no entertainment company dared to hire them. In their frustration, some of them exposed the incident where Margot

hit me. As a result, not only did Margot‘ s reputation implode, but Velvetline‘ s business also took a major hit. Many of its stars and directors demanded to cancel their contracts.

Kieran’s reputation also suffered. When news of his relationship with Margot came out, his fans erupted in anger, flooding his social media account, demanding an explanation.
This entire debacle lasted for over a month.
And then, a shocking news emerged.
Walton was arrested for murder.
It turned out that after leaving our mansion that day, Walton, in a fit of rage, strangled Margot to death and left her body in the woods. No wonder Margot had disappeared from the public eye. The day she had that heated argument with Walton was the last day of her life.
Meanwhile, Kieran’s much–anticipated film, which was supposed to launch his

career, failed the selection process and was pulled from distribution. Unable to
withstand the failure and backlash, Kieran
announced his retirement from the entertainment industry.
Some rumors claimed he had gone abroad to start fresh, trying to make a name for himself outside of the spotlight. But while auditioning for roles, he was lured to a remote region and disappeared without a trace. No one ever heard from him ever
since.
After going through all of this, I grew a lot more mature. With the support of my parents, I started my own business, found a partner to share my life with and lived a happy, fulfilling life–one without regrets.
