“Mia, this is sewn by me and I pricked my fingers a lot of times. What you make is the best thing in the world. No one can compare to you.”
Looking at Ethan’s face made me feel like throwing up and the words he said were equally disgusting.
He only pretended to be loving because I could make clothes and helped him land the role of second male lead.
But once he found someone more suitable, like Linda, he easily abandoned me.
I grabbed the clothes in Ethan’s hands, tore them up in front of him and threw them into the trash bin.
“Your sincerity is too cheap. I can’t afford it.”
Ethan stood frozen in place, watching my back as I walked away, no longer chasing after me.
Back in Sundora, I immersed myself in designing new suits. I had several big orders piling up, all of which had to be finished by the end of the week.
I worked around the clock, only managing a few hours of sleep each day.
Seeing how hard I was working, Nathan tried every way he could to buy me different nutritious lunches at the
company. Sometimes it was abalone rice, other times it was fresh–cut beef burgers.
Ethan’s manager contacted me one weekend later. He said Ethan had a very negative attitude and was considering quitting.
I was puzzled. “Then why are you looking for me?”
The manager hesitated before answering, “He still wants to try and secure a brand endorsement deal, which would be beneficial for him.”
Before I could respond, I heard Ethan smashing things on the other end of the phone. “Don’t contact her. What can I do with this face?”

Goodbye.May We Never See Each Other Again
O
I hung up immediately, not wanting to hear Ethan’s voice again.
Sundora finally entered winter with the first snowfall. Linda was really sent to the psychiatric hospital, her mind completely unstable. Every day, she would rant, cursing Ethan to death.
Ethan’s manager repeatedly begged me to no result and finally gave up on Ethan.
He posted a statement on Ethan’s Twitter, announcing his exit from the industry and, with the company’s support, forced Ethan to pay several million dollars in contract termination fees.
I watched the snow falling heavily and suddenly an idea struck me. I grabbed Nathan and ran to the studio, spending a few hours sketching out a rough design.
“What do you think of my new design?”
Nathan nodded in appreciation and pleaded with me to promise that if the design was successful, the first set
would be for him to wear.
My brand continued to grow and soon, top–tier local celebrities wanted to collaborate with me. After thoroughly assessing the actors‘ character and ensuring there were no issues, I signed the contracts.
I saved up enough money to buy my own small home and thanked Nathan for his unwavering support.
I promised him that I would give him the first set of my new designs to wear, but I didn’t tell him that I had only designed that one set and intended it solely for him.
As spring arrived, I finally decided to put down my work and take some time to explore the world outside.
Sometimes, design inspiration required more life experiences and Nathan understood, granting me a month of
leave.
On the day I was about to leave, Nathan asked me to meet him at his studio.
I hurried to arrive with my suitcase and he mysteriously took out a necklace. I recognized it as his design.
“How is it? Is it beautiful?”
The necklace was made of diamonds, with a crescent moon in the center, surrounded by a few clouds.
“Is this your new design? It’s great.”
He walked behind me, bent down and placed the gift around my neck.
“It’s a design specially made for you, one of a kind.”
I widened my eyes and reached up to touch the cool diamonds.
Nathan smiled at me, his beautiful eyes sparkling.
“What’s it called?” I asked.
Nathan paused for a moment, looking a bit embarrassed before answering, “It’s called ‘Sweet Dreams‘.
I suddenly remembered an interview with the media last month, where they asked me what my first suit was
called. At that time, I couldn’t recall.
But I remembered now. The suit was called “Yearning Boat,”
