The next day we got our marriage certificate from the court and I officially became James Parker’s wife. After taking my parents‘ blessings, I moved out to live with James in his apartment. He didn’t live with his parents. He drove me to an apartment that was far city’s crowd and was situated on a hillside. He said he didn’t like the hustle bustle of the cities, and loved to be surrounded by nature. I felt peace at his home. But, as soon as the sky turned dark my heart began racing with anticipation and a little bit of fear. It was our wedding night, and I was nervous about what would happen next.
James had been so kind and gentle with me throughout our courtship, but I had always wondered if he was…normal. As I laid on the bed, Belle’s words began echoing in my mind, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that James might be defective in some way. But as James got into bed beside me, I felt a surge of excitement. He was so handsome and strong, and his eyes sparkled with desire as he looked at me.

He knew exactly what he was doing and I felt myself melting into his arms. Now I realized that James was not defective at all. In fact, he was amazing. I felt a little ashamed for doubting him, but James just smiled and pulled me closer, whispering in a playful voice,” Did I surprise you?”
