Blake blinked in disbelief, struggling to process it.
He couldn’t fathom that the woman who had always bent to his every whim was now the one demanding a divorce.\ His hand trembled as he gripped the papers tightly, his whole body shaking with barely contained fury.”

Seeing me willingly give up my position as Mrs. Jennings, Alison couldn’t suppress the smug smile curling her lips.
Yet, she kept her face masked with a look of concern, feigning understanding.
“Blake, maybe Delilah is upset with me. Don’t be angry. Let me go talk to her.”
As she spoke, her eyes fell on something else tucked at the bottom of the folder. She pulled it out casually.
“Blake, there’s also a USB drive.”
“Oh, I know! Delilah must be joking. This USB must be her real birthday gift for you; it’s definitely a video of her wishing you a happy birthday!”
Though Alison spoke with mock cheer, she was certain of something deep down.
At the banquet, she had said enough to push me away from Blake forever.
Her confidence grew as she saw my reaction then, believing I would never return.§
There was no way the USB contained anything innocent.

With that thought, Alíson immediately signaled Mathias to play the video on the club’s massive screen.§
She wanted to seize this moment, to let everyone witness my divorce from Blake.
From this day forward, she would no longer be scorned as a homewrecker.)
The title of Mrs. Jennings, Blake himself and even the entire Jennings Corporation, she planned to make them all hers.
After listening to Alisons words, Blake’s gaze remained locked on the screen, quietly bracing himself for whatever game he believed I had left to play.
But what appeared on the screen was Alison’s arrogant and vicious face.
Her venomous voice boomed from the club speakers, echoing across the entire hall.
“You’re really shameless. Blake didn’t even allow you to show up, yet you still slithered in.“}
“In Blake’s eyes, you’re not even worth one of my toes. I casually forged an audio saying you caused my miscarriage and he believed it instantly, even dragged you out in public for a forced abortion!“}
“Oh. and your first pregnancy? That was just your bad luck. I only had someone smear oil on the stairs to embarrass you; how could I have known you were carrying some bastard’s child?“}
“If I were you, I’d have packed up and disappeared ages ago. Oh, by the way, you don’t know yet, right? That one bottle of medicine that could’ve saved your mother? Blake bought it at a high price to save my precious kitten.”
The footage showed a woman being grabbed by the neck and dragged into the swimming pool.
The sweet, innocent–looking girl spewing such vicious words shocked everyone, leaving them gasping.
“My God, this Alison is so evil! Poor Mrs. Jennings…”
“And Blake is a complete scumbag too! He watched his mother–in–law die but went to save the mistress’s pet instead. Worse than animals!”
“Mrs. Jennings lost two children because of Alison and her husband was taken away too. How desperate must she have been…“}
“I was at the banquet too. Alison and Mrs. Jennings fell into the pool together, but Blake only saved Alison! Mrs. Jennings really wasn’t worth it!”
Blake felt as if he had fallen into an ice cave, unable even to stand steady, staggering back two steps.
So I had endured so much pain out of his sight.
It really was him who had misunderstood me.}
At that moment, Blake was desperate to find me, to hold me tightly, to comfort me, to beg for forgiveness.}
Without caring about the guests, he turned and ran out.
Alison hadn’t expected me to secretly record everything from the banquet.
She stood frozen, helplessly shaking her head.
Seeing Blake about to leave, she reached out to grab his sleeve but was ruthlessly shaken off.
“Get lost! Don’t touch me!”
Alison almost begged, kneeling to hug Blake’s leg.”
“Blake, listen to me… it’s not like that…”
“Blake, where are you going… listen to me, it’s all that damn Delilah’s trick…”

He turned and ordered Mathias, “Keep an eye on her. After I find Delilah, I’ll properly settle the score with this bitch!“%
Without another glance, Blake got up and ran out.
At that moment, Alison sat slumped on the ground, no longer the glamorous woman she once was.
Her hair was a mess, her back hunched and she let out a foolish, broken laugh.
She muttered to herself, “Blake, don’t bother, after the way you hurt Delilah, she will never forgive you in this lifetime…”
