He looked up at my mother, but my mother didn’t want to look at him. She turned her head away.
His tears dripped onto the test report.
“Why? Why didn’t she tell me?”
John muttered to himself, looking at the report again and again in disbelief.
“Tell you? Humph, do you have time?!” My mom said indignantly.
“You always came home late and didn’t talk to Mary much.
“Even it was me that accompanied Mary to a prenatal checkup.” My mother pointed at Lily with a sneer on her face,
“Where were you at that time? With this woman?”
John waved his hands frantically to deny it.
“No, no. Mom, I wasn’t.”
“Really? Is it because we didn’t see you were fucking in bed?” My mom looked at John with resentment and reached out to push him out of the ward.
“Get out of here. I don’t want to see you pretending here, and Mary doesn’t want to see you even more!
“Get out of here with the woman! Get out!”
With Lucy’s help, John was dragged out of the ward.

As my mother slammed the door shut, John knelt at the door of the ward. No matter how Lily pulled him, he didn’t stand up.
“John, don’t do this. You make me so scared and sad.
“Mary will definitely not want you to he like this Stand un quickly!”
