Toby remained stunned for a long time after seeing the scars.
As he reluctantly decided to call Ethan, he suddenly started howling wildly, having finally realized that my wolf had been killed by
wolfsbane.
“I didn’t know! I really didn’t know! Why didn’t you tell me that you had been injected with wolfsbane?”
He called Ethan again, but when he spoke, his tone was more gentle than it ever had been before. “As long as you return Joyce to
me, you’ll have priority on all the pack’s resources from now on.”
Ethan cursed and jeered at him in equal measure. “Who would want to stay in the pack of an Alpha who committed murder? I’ve
already left the pack.
“And by the way, the new Luna you married has had ten previous abortions, which eventually resulted in the removal of her
uterus. I’ve already sent you the abortion reports, so you can check them on your phone.”
Afterward, Toby stood blankly for a while, lost in his thoughts.
It was at that moment that Cecilia ran up to him. “Someone is spreading rumors about me within the pack, Alpha! Please hurry up and punish them!”
Toby frowned and tapped on the reports Ethan sent him.
The detailed medical records of Cecilia’s ten abortions appeared on his phone screen. Every time she went for an abortion, she would visit a different hospital in the city to undergo the procedure–a deliberate strategy to conceal her abortions from the pack
healers.
After staring at the reports for a long time, he asked harshly, “So, the reason you can’t carry any pups is because you’ve had ten abortions, which resulted in your uterus being removed?”
Cecilia’s face drained of color, and a high–pitched yelp escaped her lips, like a startled cat. “You’d rather believe him over me? Is this what you call love?”
Toby suddenly started laughing mockingly. “Your health has never been good, but you refused when I offered to take you to a hospital. What you don’t know is that Ethan had long since warned me that there were problems with you, but I still chose to believe you over him!”
As soon as the words left his mouth, he called for some pack members to lock Cecilia up.
