“I’m going to stay with granduncle?! Yay!!” Hunter squealed as he bounced around in his car, his eyes filled with excitement.
Damon and I had just picked them up from his parents house and Damon wasted no time in breaking the news to them and just like he thought, Hunter was more than willing to go stay with my uncle.
“We not only you” Haven retorted as she narrowed her eyes on her brother but he just ignored her.
“You have to be good to your uncle, okay? Don’t cause him any trouble, hmm?” I said to both of them.
“Okay mama” They replied at the same time and I smiled at them before turning to Damon who had one of his hands on the steering wheel and another on my thigh.
“Did you have fun at Grandma and Grandpa’s house?” Damon questioned.
“Yes! They bought us plenty gifts and gave us lots of cookies” Haven replied and I turned to smile at her before turning to Hunter.
“What about you? Did you have fun?” I questioned and he nodded.
“Yes momma. We had lots of goodies and Haven and I brought back some for you and Dada” He replied and I smiled at them.
“Oh my babies are the cutest” I gushed and they both giggled.
“There was a girl there, she called me her boyfriend and herself my girlfriend. What does that mean momma?” He questioned and I tensed immediately before turning to Damon.
He briefly glanced at me before turning to the road.
“Do you know this girl?” Damon questioned and Hunter pouted.
“No. Her momma helps grandma around the house. She’s shorter than I am. What’s a boyfriend and girlfriend?” He questioned and I turned to Damon for help.
(Isn’t it too early to have this talk with them?) I mind linked him and he nodded.
(It is but we have no choice. You know Hunter is just going to keep asking) He replied and I sighed In response before turning back to Hunter who was still staring up at me, waiting for an explanation.
“When a girl likes a boy, she asks him to be her boyfriend and when a boy likes a girl, he asks her to be his girlfriend so they can spend time together and be together just like dada and I” I said slowly while staring into his eyes and he stared at me for a while before realization dawned on him and a disgusted look appeared on his face.
“Eww, I don’t like her! I don’t want to be her boyfriend” He yelled and Haven immediately began to giggle.
“Hunter has a girlfriend, Hunter has a girlfriend!” She sang and that just made him angrier.
“I don’t. Mama!” He called out and I immediately sent Haven a warning glare which immediately shot her up but she still has that playful glint in her eyes.
“You’re too young to have a girlfriend and I’m sure she doesn’t know what a girlfriend and a boyfriend is as well. Maybe she just wanted to be your friend” I explained and he scoffed.
“Well I don’t want to be her friend. She’s weird” He uttered and I frowned.
“You cannot call her weird, she’s a kid just like you. I’m sure when you grow up, you’ll get to like her” I said and he scoffed.
“I won’t because the only girl I want to be with is mama” He revealed and I smiled at him and he giggled as I tickled his feet.
“Well too bad, mama is already mine and I don’t plan on sharing her with you” Damon suddenly said, earning a glare from Hunter.
“No, mama is mine. Right mama?” He questioned and I nodded.
“Of course my love, I love you and Haven so much” I replied.
“More than dada?” He questioned with wide eyes.
“Don’t push your luck, Hunter” Damon practically growled and I rolled my eyes before mouthing a ‘Yes‘ to both of them.

Night came sooner than expected and as I sat down in front of the dresser doing my hair, I couldn’t help but think about Luca and Delilah. Delilah has told us what was going on with Luca. It pained me to know that Luca was currently suffering just because he chose to help me. He tried to convince me that I wasn’t at fault and if he has to do it again to save me then he will but I didn’t buy it, I still felt horrible. I’ve been trying to push the feeling away but it just keeps gnawing at me.
“You’re thinking about Luca again, aren’t you?” Damon questioned as he walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist. I stared at him for a while as I dragged my eyes up and down his hard toned body. Goddess, he was hot!
“My eyes are up here, baby” His voice snapped me out of my trance and when I looked up at his face, he had a knowing smirk on his face.
“You don’t have to just look baby, come over and touch” He said and I rolled my eyes before reluctantly turning back to the mirror in front of

He walked towards me and I sighed as he wrapped his arms around my shoulder and placed kisses on my face.
“I can be quick if you want” He murmured into my ears and as much as I wanted to, my mind and heart wasn’t settled.
“Stop thinking about Luca, okay? Stop worrying” Damon uttered as if he could read my mind.
“He’s your best friend, Damon. You should be worried” I replied.

“I am but I’m not letting it affect me because I know no matter what, I’m going to make those witches reverse what they did to him. While you drop off the kids with your uncle tomorrow, he and I will go to the witch’s coven so don’t worry, we’ve got this under control okay?” Before I could reply, his mouth was already on mine and I immediately melted into his arms as he deepened the kiss.
“Fuck, I can smell your arousal baby” He murmured, his voice sending tingles through my body.
He pulled away slightly and moved so he was standing directly in front of me and my mouth watered when I saw his hard cock through the towel.
I was about to reach out and grab it when the door suddenly busted open and Haven and Hunter ran in giggling before they both jumped on the bed.
I immediately stood up and Damon turned around and walked straight into the closet. That was fucking close.
“Mama, come cuddle with us” Haven called out and I smiled before walking over to bed and plopping down on it. They immediately climbed on top of me and I shrieked as they both placed kisses

“Dada!” Haven called out as she bounced softly on the bed. He chuckled as he walked up to her and placed kisses on her face.

We all climbed into Bed and Hunter was immediately glued by my side and Haven was glued to Damon’s side.
Hunter and Haven began chatting away and I watched as they asked Damon various questions and he replied them with enthusiasm which only made them ask more.
A smile appeared on my face as I watched them. This was my life now, this was what I had always wanted, a family.
Damon suddenly turned to me with a soft smile as if he could read my thoughts.
“I love you” He mouthed and I smiled back.
“I love you too“…
