Chapter 9
Daisy closed her eyes, her body trembling uncontrollably as though she had suffered a great humiliation.
But when I looked at her, I just couldn’t help but laugh.
“Who said I’m going to save him?”
She suddenly raised her head to look at me.
The hatred in her eyes was so fierce it seemed as if she wanted to tear me apart with her gaze.
Even Eden, standing by, stuttered,
“Vi… Vivi, what do you mean…”

I pulled out the doctor’s report and slammed it down in front of Eden.
“I’m here for one thing only.”
“Sign the divorce papers, or what awaits you won’t just be a divorce.”
“There will be a criminal case too.”
Eden instinctively grabbed the report from my hand.
After a quick glance, the color drained from his face completely…

“Little one, I’m not your mom. She is.”
“You said you liked her being your mom, that you liked how she pampered you and didn’t

“Well, now you’ve got your wish.”
Aaro didn’t expect me to be so cold. He collapsed to the floor.
Meanwhile, I got what I wanted–Eden’s signature. Without a second thought, I turned to leave.
Just before I walked out of the room, Eden’s hoarse voice stopped me.
“Vivi, if I divorce you, will everything else…”
I turned around and flashed him a bright smile.
“Eden, I’m a businesswoman.”
