Roger waved in dismissal. “No, Mr. Murphy, it’s what I should do, Mrs. Fletcher is now our employer as well. Everybody was eager to make today happen after witnessing how good their relationship is.”

He had been pulling his hair out to figure out the grand plan to bring Benedict and Janelle together, yet here Rager was, saying they had a good relationship.
Roger broke into a smile, “You didn’t know, did you? This morning, Mr. Fletcher dropped by Velmont Hotel for an inspection. It goes without saying what he was here for–checking on our progress, of course!
“Mr. Fletcher was so attentive, he even showed up here just for Mes. Fletcher to enjoy today’s feast. That does say something about their bond, doesn’t it?
Murphy’s brows furrowed slightly.
That was strange—he had never informed Benedict about any of this. By all logic, he shouldn’t have known at all. Or could he have misunderstood something?
Murphy had always assumed the reason why Benedict never looked for Janelle was because there had been some sort of conflict between them. But what if that wasn’t the case at all?
What if Benedict had actually upset fanelle, and even though he wanted to make things right, he didn’t losow how? So, all he could do was treat her well from behind the scenes.
The more Murphy contemplated, the more plausible it sounded. Immediately, he asked, “Has Daddy lett?”
“No, Mr. Murphy, Mr. Fletcher is still working in one of the rooms upstairs.”

“The one he’s always in.”
