Chapter 105
As for Lucy, Hannah, and the others, they had previously heard Bessie assert emphatically that she was very familiar with this important person and had a good relationship with him. They immediately thought that he would personally help Bessie up and might even assist her in teaching Ophelia a lesson…
Under the gaze of the crowd, Winford coldly glanced at the person beneath him and spoke.
“Graham.”
“Mr. Winford.”
“Threw it out.”
“Yes!”
Others:
Bessie suddenly widened her eyes, “Mr. Winford?!”
She reached out to grab the man’s leg, but before she could touch it, she was lifted up by the bodyguard and unhesitatingly thrown out of the hotel!
The hall was in complete silence, and the students from both classes were staring in astonishment.
What happened?
Wasn’t Bessie in a good relationship with the boss?
Chapter 105
In the silence, Ophelia couldn’t help but let out a soft laugh.
Suddenly, all the gazes were focused on her.
Ophelia was in a great mood. She walked briskly towards the man, saying, “Old-”
“Are you the owner of this hotel?” Winford suddenly spoke up, interrupting her.
Ophelia was stunned and took two seconds to react. She then realized that Winford did not want to expose their relationship in front of others!
She pouted, feeling a bit unhappy.
So what if she was exposed? She didn’t care what others said!
She opened her mouth, wanting to call out “husband,” but just as the sound reached her throat, she met the man’s heavy gaze, which was filled. with an overwhelming sense of authority.
After a two–second silence, she reluctantly swallowed the address and, even more unwillingly, said, “Yes, is there something you need, sir?”
Seeing her obedient, Winford’s expression softened slightly as he took. steady steps inside. “There is something I would like to discuss with Ms. Greene,” he said.
After taking a few steps, I saw that she was still standing there, looking gloomy, so I stopped and asked, “Aren’t you coming?”
Ophelia’s eyes brightened slightly, and she hurried to catch up.
Before entering the elevator, she saw the two hotel managers she had forgotten about and stopped in her tracks. “Enzo, from now on, you will be fully responsible for this hotel!”
As for the original person in charge, Connor-
She let out a cold laugh and pointed at the person, “You can’t even tell who the real owner of the hotel is. It’s really a waste of my mother’s support for you back in the day. Just pack your things and get lost!”
Connor immediately burst into tears, regretting his past actions. “Miss, please give me another chance…!”
Ophelia ignored it and happily followed her husband into the elevator.
Finally, he left a message: “Enzo, arrange the box for them again.”
There was no doubt that she was referring to the two classes of students who stood awkwardly in the lobby.
These students were not really bad people, and there was no significant conflict between them and her; it could be said that they were also deceived by Bessie.
It was just a meal; she could still afford it.
However, this generosity was merely a reflection of her upbringing, not an attempt to please others or seek reconciliation.
Making friends? Forget it!
Her time was meant to be spent on her husband; others were not worthy of it!
The elevator doors closed.
The people who were still standing foolishly in the lobby had expressions that were increasingly awkward.
“Ophelia didn’t seem so bad after all…” someone murmured softly.
Chapter 100
“We treated her like that before, yet she still invited us to dinner…“.
In the tone, there was awkwardness, discomfort, and shame.
“I never expected that she was actually the legitimate daughter of the Greene family!”
“So it was Bessie who was lying all along? Tsk, she was really so shameless!”
“In that case, the sponsorship must have been fake! How could Mr. Greene possibly withdraw the sponsorship just because his daughter upset his stepdaughter…”
In the discussion, some people recalled the various discount cards that Bessie had given before. It was mentioned that those cards were all under the Greene Group, belonging to the Ophelia family. What did that have to do with Bessie, a stepdaughter?
After that, who would still have the nerve to use it? Oh my!
Ignoring what the people in the class thought, as soon as Ophelia left their sight, she threw herself into Winford’s arms.
She called out playfully, “Honey, how did you come here?”
Winford wrapped his arm around her with a one–handed backhand to prevent her from tipping over and said, “Come and talk to someone about something.”
“Oh, you should have said that earlier! Then we could have gone out together!”
She spoke with a hint of regret.
Winford was about to speak when the elevator stopped, and the elevator doors opened.
