It was just a small matter that she could solve on her own, and she was too lazy to mention it, as it would take up the time she spent with him.
The next day, Ophelia attended class as usual.
She had only one class in the afternoon, and after the class, she prepared to leave the school.

Adalynn and her group approached her with an imposing demeanor!
Adalynn stood still and sneered, “What did I say yesterday? Before two o’clock, kneel down and apologize to Bessie! Did you do it?”
Ophelia lazily lifted her eyelids and said, “Just because you said it, I have to do it? Who are you?”
“Who am I?” Adalynn raised her head proudly. “I am Adalynn, born into the Estrada family in Kingchester, and I am also the future young mistress of the Pruitt family in Kingchester!”
The future Mrs. Pruitt family?
Ophelia’s brow twitched, and she finally looked at the other person seriously.
She was referring to whom in the Pruitt family?
Ophelia squinted her eyes and suddenly glanced at Bessie, who looked
pitiful next to Adalynn.
Earlier in the cafeteria, she had noticed that Adalynn harbored a strong hostility towards her. If it were just to vent for Bessie, there shouldn’t have been such intense animosity.
That hostility might have been closely related to Adalynn’s identity as “the future Mrs. Pruitt of the Pruitt family.”

Lenora and Hannah, who knew Winford’s identity, looked at Adalynn with a somewhat indescribable expression.
Ophelia’s focus, however, was not on that. She didn’t pay any attention to Adalynn’s reckless threat at all. Instead, she spoke up and asked, “The future Mrs. Pruitt? You are engaged to the Pruitt family? Who?”
Adalynn raised her chin a little higher and asked, “Did Mr. Winford know?”

Ophelia’s brow furrowed again, and Lenora and Hannah’s hearts suddenly lifted.

Even a fool could hear the insincerity in her words. Adalynn got angry and said, “Ophelia! Today you either kneel down or get out of Ventura University!”
As soon as he finished speaking, he immediately signaled to the attendant beside him, “Go, she doesn’t know how to kneel, so you all go help her!”
