“Of course not old!” She somewhat regretted what she had said at that

“Well.” Ophelia nodded and then looked up to correct him: “Honey, it’s not just my mom, it’s also your mom. You’re my husband now, so why haven’t you changed how you address her?”
Winford felt a bit uncomfortable and said, “Alright, I will change my way of speaking from now on.”
He had seen Harriet when he was young. He had been mature for his age, and although he was only ten, he did not regard Harriet as an elder; instead, he communicated with her on equal terms.
