Chapter300
Ophelia didn’t notice the man’s unusual behavior. She suddenly looked up at him and said something else: “Honey, you just said that no matter what I do, even if I make a mistake, you will protect me. Is that true?”
Winford gently stroked her cheek with his palm and answered without. hesitation. “Of course.”
Ophelia’s heart trembled, and she opened her mouth, but suddenly found herself unable to speak.
She could only hug him tightly and said. “Honey, you were really great!”
She was so lucky to have met him!
Winford kissed her hair and said, “My Lia was also very good.”
Ophelia curved her lips and suddenly said, “Honey, shall we go back to Sunset Vista? I had a piece of land cleared there, and would you accompany me to plant flowers?”
Winford said, “Okay.”
The two of them returned to Sunset Vista.
Ophelia liked the garden at Sunset Vista and occasionally enjoyed turning the soil to plant some flowers and plants that others had never seen before.
Having Winford accompany her to plant flowers was just a sudden whim, but after Winford agreed, she really started to look forward to it.
What flowers did they plant?
Planted now, when would it bloom?
In the future, when she and Winford’s hair turned white, they wondered if the flowers were still there.
After arriving home, she first changed into loose and comfortable clothes. Then Ophelia took the man’s large hand and happily headed straight for the garden.
The garden of Sunset Vista was originally filled with exotic flowers and plants. Just taking out a single pot of flowers could probably sell for over a million. However, now, in one corner of this magnificent garden, the flowers that were originally planted had been pulled out and replaced with some unrecognizable, ordinary–looking grass.
It was Ophelia who planted it. She had casually mentioned wanting to grow something, and Winford had someone clear a space for her.
This time she wanted to plant something again. The servants at Sunset Vista had long recognized her unshakeable position as the mistress, so they did not consult Winford and immediately cleared a space for her.
However, Ophelia did not intend to plant what she had originally planned, she wanted to plant flowers with Winford.
“Hubby. what do you think we should plant?” Standing on the freshly tilled soil, Ophelia gently furrowed her beautiful brows and asked with a hint of hesitation.
“Roses,” Winford’s answer came without hesitation.
Ophelia turned around in surprise and said, “Rose?”
This was too ordinary! Her husband actually liked it?
“Um.”
Winford did not say that when he mentioned the flowers, the roses she had given him immediately came to his mind.
In the past, he thought roses were very ordinary, something anyone could give to their lover. However, ever since he received them from her, those flowers became anything but ordinary.
It became the most precious flower in his heart.
The roses he received back then were even made into specimens and carefully stored in the safe, with the same security level as his most important documents.
“Okay, then we planted roses!”
Ophelia had no objections and thought that planting a whole field of roses with Winford was incredibly romantic.
Graham was very perceptive and immediately had someone bring some flower seedlings.
The servants were also busy bringing up tools such as hoes.
Looking at the usually unmatched Mr. Winford, who actually rolled up his sleeves and stepped onto the dirty ground to dig a hole himself, the servants exchanged glances, unable to hide their inner shock.
