Graham smiled faintly and went straight to the point, stating his purpose for coming in, “I was sent by Mr. Winford to pick up something.”
Shaun wondered, “Picking up things?”
“Yes. Mrs. Pruitt heard that Sir Whitaker was sick, so she brought a gift to visit him yesterday. However, she couldn’t ultimately get in, but she left the gift behind. Unfortunately, later on, it was heard that the Whitaker family didn’t appreciate these things and threw them in the trash.”
As the words fell, Shaun and Helena’s faces suddenly changed.
Shaun remained calm, but Helena’s eyes instantly welled up with tears. She became so excited that she almost stood up and said, “Lia came to visit her grandfather? Really? When?”
Shaun’s stern gaze fell upon his daughter–in–law, Freya.
Freya respectfully said. “At that time. I didn’t have time to entertain, so I didn’t let anyone in. I was also afraid that it would hurt my parents if they found out, so I didn’t say anything.”

Freya had to call out a few servants who were responsible for handling things and asked, “Where did you all throw away the things that I asked you to handle yesterday?”
Several servants glanced at Isabelle subconsciously, stuttering and avoiding eye contact, unable to answer.
