Bessie’s face turned red. “What do you mean by wasting your upbringing? My mom was clearly good to you! And that share, it was obviously-”

She curled her lips into a mocking smile and said, “Is that what you call being good to me? That’s really laughable! You are her own daughter, and she treats you well. Why haven’t I seen her deliberately raise you to be useless? Why haven’t I seen her intentionally dress you in a strange way to embarrass you in front of others?”
Bessie was left speechless.
Everyone’s gaze towards Erin became subtle.
In the past, they had only heard about how bad Ophelia was, but now it seemed that things were not so simple!
