Chase’s Povl
After Olivia left with Rose and Cynthia, I stayed back at the store
The salesgirl lowered her head respectfully.
“Sir,” she greeted
I pointed at the diamond dress Olivia had worn earlier.
“Pack it up,” I ordered. “Deliver it to Bellaire’s Mansion. Attach a message with it”
She nodded quickly and got to work.
Satisfied, I pulled out my phone and called Leo.
“We’re parked around the corner,” he said as soon as he answered. “Out of sight”
“Good,” I said and hung up.
I slipped through the back of the mall and headed for the hidden lot where my Ferrari waited.
Leo was already standing by the car when he saw me
My face must have looked bad because Leo’s smile faded instantly.
I couldn’t help it.
The kiss kept replaying in my mind over and over again.
Olivia’s soft lips. Her warmth. The way everything had felt… too familiar.
Leo opened the car door for me, but before I got in, he spoke up.
“I got more news,” he said carefully. “There’s a Pl snooping around.”
I stiffened.
“Who hired him?“%
“Elena and Rosa, Leo replied grimly. “We got that from a secure source.”

“Set up a meeting with the PL” I said.!!
“Already done,” Leo replied.
I got into the car, slamming the door a little harder than necessary.
As Leo drove through the city, he glanced at me through the mirror.”
“You alright, boss? You don’t look too bright“:

Leo grinned.
“Really? You just kissed a woman. Shouldn’t you be happier?”
I turned charply to him.!!
“How do you know about the kiss?”
He laughed.
“You’ve got lipstick on your mouth, man. Bright red,”
I grabbed the side mirror and stared at my reflection.
Sure enough, there it was–Olivia’s lipstick smudged against my lips.
I groaned.
Leo tossed me a handkerchief, still laughing.
“Better clean that up before we meet the PL
I wiped my mouth furiously!!
Leo kept glancing at me, amused.
“So was the kiss that bad?
I shot him a glare.
“On the contrary, it was very good.”
Leo raised an eyebrow.

I slumped back into the seat, frustrated X
