I leaned back in my chair, my eyes glued to the hidden camera feed.

Before I could react, my secretary buzzed through the intercom. “Sir, there’s a package here for you.”
“Bring it in,” I said, my voice low.
She came in quickly, handing me a plain brown envelope.

I plugged it into my laptop and watched a short video. It was a gift I would give Olivia tomorrow!
“Leol” I barked, standing up so fast my chair toppled over. “Get the car!”

As Leo drove, I sat stiffly in the back seat, clutching the box so hard my knuckles turned white.!!

I clenched my fists, trying to fight the wave of emotion crashing over me. She needed me. She trusted me.
Slowly, I lifted her into my arms and carried her to the bed.
“Are you sure?” I whispered against her ear.
She nodded weakly, her fingers clutching at me like I was her only lifeline.
I kissed her forehead gently, then her cheeks, tasting her salty tears:
“I’m here.” I murmured. “I’ll take care of you..
And as I kissed her lips, I finally knew..
She wasn’t just some mystery girl from a forgotten night.
She was my girl.
She was the one I’d been searching for.
And nothing nothing would ever take her away from me again.
