The next day, Ethan posted on social media, officially announcing his relationship with Linda and Linda quickly retweeted it with the words, “My dear Ethan.”
I silently wished them happiness, thinking that perhaps this time Ethan would finally let me go.
Late into the night, I was awakened by the piercing sound of my phone ringing non–stop.
