I just found out that the director of Ethan’s new drama was him. He got straight to the point and talked to me, saying he disapproved of Ethan’s irresponsible behavior and wouldn’t use Ethan as the male lead in the new drama.
He made a request, saying he would consider using Ethan again if I created another new suit for him.
But we both know that’s absolutely impossible now.
No wonder Ethan was so eager to ask me to come back and kept hinting that he wanted a new suit.
I thanked the director. He’s the only one who still remembered my designs and had helped me before.
A week passed and I handed the initial draft of my design to Nathan. He was so pleased that he offered to design a logo for my brand once the final product was complete.
suit.
I was looking forward to that day and it’s made me work even harder.
Ethan, however, hadn’t given up and kept bombarding me with texts, begging me to come back and make him a
No longer tolerating his fake facade, I snapped back, “The cheap things I make aren’t good enough for you. You can ask Linda to help you solve this problem.”
Later, at the opening ceremony for the new drama, the director really didn’t cast Ethan and instead chose his archrival, which was a huge slap in Ethan’s face.
The media was all speculating about what had happened, while Linda pointed her finger at me, calling me shameless. Her words implied that even after leaving, I couldn’t stay out of it and had to ruin Ethan’s bright future.
I felt a sense of helplessness, like my hands couldn’t reach through the screen. I threw out a retort amidst her hysterical yelling, “If you want to blame someone, blame yourself for being incompetent. If you love Ethan so much, why don’t you help him land the male lead role yourself?”
I refused to sink back into the pain of the past, decisively snapping my SIM card in half and tossing it into the
sewer.
My design eventually passed the senior review at Dreamscape. They invested in producing sample pieces and promoted them across their branches for display.
Nathan excitedly told me that many VIP clients loved my designs and even asked if they could have custom fittings at home.
I was overjoyed. I had never been so acknowledged before. Over the weekend, Nathan successfully registered the logo he had promised me.
My brand grew increasingly popular and Dreamscape provided me with even more funding support.
I spent every day sketching in my studio and whenever I had spare time, I visited the store to take measurements
for clients.
Half a month later, I saw a scandal involving Linda in the news. She was caught in bed with the assistant director
and was thrown naked into the hallway.
The media sensationalized the incident and her relationship with Ethan was dragged into the spotlight for
criticism.
What was laughable was that as soon as Linda’s scandal broke, Ethan immediately deleted the official
announcement post about their relationship, as if nothing had ever happened.
Photos of Linda, completely unclothed, spread everywhere, while Ethan remained silent, clearly trying to
distance himself from her.
Driven to madness, Linda posted three tweets in a row, claiming she had slept with the assistant director solely to secure the male lead role for Ethan. She lashed out at him, calling him ungrateful and warning him not to dream of
cutting ties with her now.
Ethan’s agency quickly issued a statement to refute the rumors, clarifying his relationship with Linda and
Goodbye May We Never See Each Other Again
explaining that he didn’t get the male lead role due to scheduling conflicts.
I couldn’t take it anymore, so I reached out to that director for help. He was more than happy to assist, but he
requested that I personally visit him to make him a suit.
I laughed and immediately agreed, promising that the suit would be the only one of its kind in the world.
So in the evening, the director posted a long article, which included how Ethan played the second male role and
how he abandoned me and chose Linda.
This explosive revelation kept Ethan’s name trending on social media for the entire night. Countless fans
unfollowed him and even some fans who had seen my designs spoke up in my defense.
After settling everything here, I took a week off with Nathan. He suggested accompanying me back home, as he
also wanted to contact a few studios for long–term collaborations.
