The next day, I immediately notified the bank to lock the credit card I had given my dad. The bank informed me that I needed to pay off last month’s expenses and that they had sent the records to my email.
Busy with work, I hastily agreed. When I finally had time to check, I opened the email with the expense records and was so shocked that I called the bank again to verify their authenticity.
In one month, my dad had charged $176,000 on that credit card.
The expenses were all over the place, from large home appliances like refrigerators, TVs, and washing machines, to underwear and even adult products?!
I took a sharp breath and, after some thought, sent the bill to my dad.
This time, I received a call from him.
“Why are you pulling up statements out of the blue?” My dad’s voice sounded irritated. “Not only do you disrespect your elders now, but you’re also invading people’s privacy?”
I was truly flabbergasted.
I found it laughable.
“Your spending last month was so high that the bank specifically sent me a statement for repayment. Where did you buy all these things? I didn’t see any new additions at home!”
There was some rustling on my dad’s end, and then his voice came through, noticeably lowered.
“Your Aunt Autumn’s previous house was empty, with nothing in it. I thought since I often stay there, I’d buy some things.”
There was more rustling, and my dad’s voice carried a hint of impatience, “If there’s nothing else, I’m hanging up.”
Listening to the echo on the phone, I was so angry my chest was heaving, and I could barely catch my breath.
Using my money to please his girlfriend, and then allowing his girlfriend to criticize me and plan my future again and again, while he was still her accomplice?

Autumn was problematic, but my dad was even worse!
I calmed down and immediately made another call.
“Hello? It’s me. Help me find an address, and then bring some people there…”
After hanging up, I was about to get back to work when my assistant, Amy, knocked on my office door, looking troubled.
“Ms. Yang, there’s someone downstairs claiming to be your boyfriend. He wants you to go down and meet him…”
When Amy and I got downstairs, we saw several men in work attire huddled together, talking about something, occasionally glancing at passing women with lewd smiles on their faces.
Greg, who was surrounded by them, spotted me and immediately pushed his friends aside to walk towards me.
“Honey, you finally came down. My buddies and I were just in the neighborhood. Since it’s your first time meeting them, you should treat them to something nice…”
Greg’s “honey” shocked not only me but everyone around us.
“Who the hell is your honey?” I immediately turned to the security guards at the entrance. “Who let these irrelevant people in? Get them out!”
As the security guards approached, Greg’s friends were clearly bewildered, shouting at Greg to control me.
Greg’s face darkened, and he reached out to grab me, but Amy quickly stepped between us, slapping away Greg’s outstretched hand.
I forgot to mention, Amy used to be a district–level boxing champion. This slap was no joke.
Greg was clearly in pain, tenderly rubbing the spot where he’d been hit, his eyes filled with resentment as he looked at me.
“Aunt was right! Women like you need to be taught a lesson in bed to behave. We’ve eaten at the same table, how are we not a couple!”
I looked at Greg in astonishment and said sincerely:
“No need for that. Next time we have a chance to eat at the same table, I’ll be eating heartily while looking at your memorial tablet!”
It took Greg a few seconds to realize I was cursing him. By then, the security guards were dragging him away. The head of security came over with an apologetic look.
“I’m sorry, Ms. Yang. He showed us a photo of you two together, so I thought…”
“What photo?” I was stunned, my gaze immediately focusing on Greg. The guards holding him reacted quickly, deliberately jostling him, and sure enough, a photo fell out.
Amy brought me the photo. It showed Greg in an intimate pose with a woman. The woman’s face was indeed mine, but there were obvious signs of photoshopping.
“Contact the legal department. Someone has violated my right of portrait,” I said, glancing at Greg and handing the photo to Amy as evidence. “Greg, you’d better come clean about where you got my photo from. Otherwise, I’ll sue you until you’re penniless!”
Intimidated by my threats and the imposing security guards, Greg reluctantly admitted that Autumn had given him the photo.
Not only did she provide the photo, but she also knew my company address and even my home address.
As for who provided the last two pieces of information, the answer was obvious.
I waved my hand, telling the security guards to drag him out.
Although I had already realized that my dad’s heart was entirely with Autumn, focused solely on pleasing her.
But thinking about how I was being treated like a gift, so easily given away by him, I still felt a bit hurt.

The lawyer worked efficiently, not only filing a lawsuit against Greg but also uncovering some other information.
It turned out that after learning about my identity, Autumn had overnight contacted several single male relatives, and even urged some cousins and nephews to quickly divorce, not wanting to miss out on me, a single little rich woman.
Autumn had calculated well. She had my dad under her thumb, and her relatives would have me under theirs.
Then they’d make me have a child, securing their comfort for life.
To plan so much in just one evening, I couldn’t believe Autumn was simply naive.
I told the lawyer to be harsh and not to hold back. At the same time, I opened the door to go home.
To my surprise, as soon as the door opened, a slap came flying at me.
