“You’re saying you’re willing to give money?” Robert looked at me suspiciously. I nodded again but emphasized, “But I’ll only give the money to you alone. If you don’t believe me, we can go find a lawyer right now to draw up an agreement, and then I’ll transfer the money to you.”
I sighed, putting on a sincere face.
“No matter what, you’re still my dad. Even though you don’t want to acknowledge me anymore because of that woman, but like you said, I can’t disregard our father–daughter relationship!”
After I said this, Robert furrowed his brow, seeming to think for a long time.
When he looked up at me again, his expression had softened considerably.
“Alright, I’ll go with you. You still have quite a few misunderstandings about your Aunt Autumn. I really hope you can clear things up with her.” Robert kept rambling on.

Just as I parked the car near the hotel, my phone buzzed. I glanced at the message and immediately said, “The lawyer I arranged to meet is in the hotel lobby. Let’s go.”
Robert was a bit suspicious but didn’t say anything, following me to the hotel lobby.
As soon as we entered, the elevator came down, and we saw several police officers escorting a couple out.
Robert behind me gasped sharply.
“Autumn!”
Autumn, who had been keeping her head down, looked up in disbelief at the sound, her eyes meeting the shocked Robert’s.
I timely grabbed the person next to me, “Excuse me, can I ask what happened?”
“Ha, it’s just a prostitution bust!” A bystander shook his head and clicked his tongue. “But at their age, still running out to sleep with other men, tsk tsk. If I were her husband, I’d be so angry I’d jump off a building tonight!”
As soon as these words were spoken, there was a “thud” sound. Robert had collapsed to the ground in anger.
