The mountain cleaning was littered with the fallen bodies of rogues, the blood–soaked earth a testament to the battle that had raged. A thick, tense silence settled over the remaining wamors as they scanned the area, ready for any remaining threats Marissa, in her white wolf form, stood at the center, her breaths coming fast, her silver eyes sharp and unyielding. Her heart thundered in her chest, fueled by the rage that simmered beneath her skin.
And then he appeared.
The Rogue King stepped into the clearing, his wolf enormous, his dark fur glistening under the moonlight. He moved with an arrogant confidence, his amber eyes gleaming with a twisted delight as he took in the destruction around him, a sneer curling across his muzzle There was a sickeningly smug satisfaction in the way he held himself, as though the bloodshed only fueled his desire for more
“So,” he snarled, his voice carrying across the cleaning as he addressed them, “the mighty Alpha King and his Luna have resorted to cheap tricks.” He laughed, a cold, mocking sound that echoed through the night. “How predictable. You thought you could trap me?”
Marissa growled low, her fur bristling as she watched him. Every muscle in her body was taut coiled with the desire to strike. She felt her Lycan blood pulsing within her, a hot, uncontainable force that made her feel as though she could tear him apart with her bare teeth.
“You think you’re untouchable?” Manssa snarled, her voice filled with contempt. “You slaughtered innocent lives and stained these lands. with your filth. You have no place here.“;
The Rogue King laughed again, his eyes flashing with a sadistic light. “You know nothing, child,” he sneered, baring his teeth. “I’ve tasted Lycan blood, the blood of your precious Beta, It’s made me stronger than you could ever imagine. This… is my territory now.“)
The mention of her father’s blood, his sacrifice twisted into a mockery, ignited a fire in Marissa’s heart, a fury so pure it seemed to burn through her veins. Without a second thought, she lunged at him, her body a blur of white as she closed the distance between them. Her daws

The Rogue King met her attack with equal ferocity, his dark wolf blocking her with a brutal swipe of his claws. But Manssa barely felt the impact, her body thrumming with the strength of her bloodline, her senses heightened, sharper than ever. She twisted, using the force of his strike to propel herself around him, her claws slicing across his side with deadly precision
The Rogue King snarled in pain, his eyes widening as he realized the power she possessed. His confidence faltered for a split second, but he quickly recovered, snapping his teeth at her with renewed aggression.
“You think that Lycan blood makes you special?” he spat, circling her. “I have that same power now, girl. Your father’s blood runs through me, strengthening me.”
Marissa’s gaze hardened, a growl rumbling in her chest as she faced him. “You’re a fool if you think my father’s blood could ever truly belong to you.”
She lunged again, faster this time, her movements fueled by the raw, unrestrained energy coursing through her veins. She tore into him, her claws raking across his chest, her teeth sinking into his shoulder with a force that made him stumble. The taste of his blood filled her mouth, bitter and metallic, but she didn’t relent. She was a whirlwind of fury, her every movement precise and deadly.
The Rogue King struggled, his powerful frame beginning to falter under her relentless assault. As they fought, Idris stood nearby, his dark wolf guarding her flank, his eyes focused and alert. Every time a rogue tried to intervene, Idns was there, a fierce wall of protection. He lunged at any wolf foolish enough to approach, casting them aside with a brutal efficiency that left no room for mercy. His powerful jaws closed around the neck of one–rogue, tossing him aside like a rag doll before turning to face. the next with a deadly growl.
“You won’t lay a single paw on her,” Idris growled through the mind link, his voice cold and unyielding. His loyalty, his fierce protection, only fueled Marissa’s resolve, his presence a steady force beside her as she focused on her battle.
The Rogue King’s confidence was waning, his movements growing sloppy as he struggled to keep up with Marissa’s speed and power She could see the fear creeping into his eyes, the realization that he was outmatched. She pressed her advantage, her teeth closing around his leg and yanking with a force that sent him sprawling to the ground.
He scrambled to his feet, snarling, his eyes flashing with a desperate anger. “You you are nothing!” he spat, his voice trembling. “I am the Rogue King! I am stronger than any of you!!!
But his words fell flat, lus bravado empty in the face of Marissa’s silent fury. She stepped closer, her silver gaze burning into him, her breath coming in short, fierce gasps. “You’re nothing but a coward,” she said, her voice low and deadly. “You hid behind others, used my father’s blood to make yourself feel powerful. But that blood doesn’t belong to you. And tonight, you pay for every life you’ve stolen.” With a final snorl, she lunged at him, her jaws closing around his throat, her teeth digging deep. She felt his body jerk, his struggle: weakening as her strength overpowered him Victory was within her grasp, the taste of justice filling her senses as she prepared to en him.
