Third Person POV
Before Calvert could finish his sentence, Sabrina cut him off. But the moment he raised an eyebrow, clearly up to no good, her confidence faltered.
“I–I’m not feeling well today,” she said softly, her voice barely audible. “I don’t think I can drive… I hope you understand, Mr. Hansen.” “You’re not feeling well?” Calvert gave a chuckle. “No problem, I’ve got plenty of medicine at home. You take me back, and I’ll fix y up.”
He said it with mock concern, but his tone

“Mr. Hansen.”
Sabrina tried to speak again, but before she could finish, Magnus’s fist came crashing into Calvert’s face.2
He shoved him to the ground and threw punch after punch until Sabrina rushed in and pulled him away.
“You’ve got guts, Magnus,” Calvert growled, wiping the blood from the comer of his mouth as he struggled to his feet. “Hitting me? So what you don’t want the deal anymore, is that it?”
Magnus stood tall and cold. “Fine by me. Our family has no interest in doing business with someone like you.”
He turned to leave with Sabrina in tow, but paused as Calvert called out behind them.
“Magnus, do you really know Sabrina?”
His voice was laced with mockery. “You might want to be careful about who you keep close. Just a friendly warning.“%
“I don’t need advice from someone like you.” Magnus said without even turning back. He took Sabrina’s hand and walked out of the café. Outside, her hand trembled slightly in his
“I’m sorry, Magnus..”
Her voice cracked with emotion, almost too quiet to hear. He looked down at her, his heart aching at the sight.
“It’s okay,” he said gently. “Even without his family, I can find another partner”
He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close, trying to reassure her.
But losing the deal with Calvert was just the beginning.
In the days that followed, Magnus noticed something was wrong. The company’s stock prices were dropping, and no matter how many strategies he tried, he couldn’t pinpoint the cause.
Two weeks later, just as he was drowning in work at the office, a shocking news headline popped up on his screen out of nowhere. [Breaking News: Mrs. Colon Caught Cheating with Malcom Corporation’s CEO!]
Below the headline were several intimate photos of Chelsea and Alaric.
Magnus’s eyes narrowed. He immediately called for Sabrina.}
“Did you do this?” he asked the moment she walked into his office, his tone cold and accusing.
“I did.”
She didn’t even deny it after seeing the news on the screen.
“Why would you release those photos without telling me?”
“The sooner it goes public, the sooner you can divorce Chelsea and get your hands on her family’s shares. Isn’t that a win–win?” She walked around behind him and began to gently massage his shoulders. “Magnus, I only did th

for you–for the company.”
“I had a few friends help out, nothing big,” she answered, and slid onto his lap, arms curling around his neck.!!
“So now that I’ve helped you get her family’s shares, she whispered, brushing her lips near his, “how are you going to thank me?” She then leaned in to klas him, but this time, Magnus turned away.!!
“Who told you to do this?”
His fists clenched, jaw tight with frustration.
“I thought this was what you wanted, she replied, her gaze seductive and teasing.
He looked into her eyes, but found no answers–only questions. Was this really what he wanted?
Before he could make sense of it, the door to his office creaked open again.
Calvert leaned against the doorframe, his eyes glinting with amusement
