Without saying a word, he grabbed a wine bottle off the table and smashed it over the head of the man on top of Chelsea.
“The hell? Who-” The guy tumed, clutching his bleeding head, but the moment he saw who it was, the anger on his face vanished.
“Mr. Colon ?I
“Get Out”
Magnus’s voice was low, cold, and deadly
The four men didn’t need to be told twice. They scrambled out of the room like rats fleeing a fire.
Magnus turned back to the couch and froze upon seeing Chelsea trembling, tears sliding down her cheeks, and barely covered.
He took off his jacket and draped it gently over her shoulders.
Just as he reached down to lift her into his arms, a voice rang out from the doorway.
“Magnus, what are you doing?” Sabrina’s voice was thick with confusion.
“Yeah, Magnus, what are you doing?” another voice chimed in–it was Michaela.&
“You said we’d wait until they were done and bring out the photos and videos. Why’d you go in now?” Michaela walked up to him, visibly annoyed.
Chelsea froze.
So… he knew.
He knew everything. The trap. The setup. The plan. And he was part of it.E
Tears welled up in her eyes once more, blurring her vision.
“There are other ways to get what we want,” Magnus said flatly. “But this ends here.”
Without waiting for a reply, he bent down again, arms reaching for her.

“Ahh—” A sudden cry of pain rang out through the room. It was Sabrina.
“Sabrina? What’s wrong?” Michaela rushed to her side and helped her up.
“I… I think it’s just cramps,” she said weakly, tears glistening in her eyes as she looked at Magnus. “Maybe it’s that time of the month. Magnus, can you take me to the hospital?”
Magnus glanced at her, clearly tom. Then he looked over at Chelsea, who still lay silently on the couch, her eyes hollow and lifeless. “What are you hesitating for, Magnus?” Michaela jumped in. “Sabrina’s not feeling well. You should be rushing her to the hospital by now!”
She didn’t even wait for him to reply before grabbing his arm and helping him out of the room with Sabrina.
Just before leaving, Magnus looked back at Chelsea one last time, still frozen in place.
And yet, he walked away!
As the door closed behind them, Michaela turned to glance at Chelsea, her expression full of disdain.”
“Don’t blame us for what happened,” she sneered. “Your dad’s the one who forced my brother into marrying you.”
With a cold chuckle, she strutted out of the room in her heels, leaving Chelsea completely alone.
Everyone was gone.
Chelsea didn’t move. She stared up at the multicolored lights dancing across the ceiling. Her heart had shattered into a thousand pieces. She didn’t know how long she lay there until the door creaked open again.”
This time, it was Alaric.
When he had driven off earlier, something hadn’t felt right. The way Chelsea had looked at him… There was something off in her eyes. A sense of unease tugged at his chest, so he turned back.E
When he arrived, he had caught the scene–Magnus smashing a bottle over one of the men. Alaric didn’t interrupt. He just stood there and watched everything unfold.
He had never realized how miserable Chelsea’s life as Magnus’s wife had become. All the rumors about the couple being in love were nothing but a lie.D
Without saying a word, Alaric sent someone to bring her a clean set of clothes.l
But when the female staff member went in to help her change, a scream cut through the silence like a knife to the heart &
Alaric rushed into the room, only to see blood everywhere on the couch. Chelsea sat there, dazed and motionless, covered in it!
In that moment, his heart clenched painfully
He hurried to her side, scooped her into his arms, and mced to the hospital without a second thought.
Unbeknownst to him, there was a camera from a distance, capturing the exact moment he picked her up.
Chelsea had lost the baby.!!
Sitting quietly beside her hospital bed, Alaric held her hand tightly!
“Chelsea,” he said gently, “Magnus doesn’t love you. Come with me Instead,”

The mention of Magnus finally stirred a reaction. Chelsea turned her head slowly to look at him. Her eyes were blank, empty.
“My flight leaves tomorrow night,” he added. “Come with me. Let’s leave this place–ll take you home.”
That word, home, broke something inside her.
She clutched her blanket and burst into tears, sobbing uncontrollably

The next moming, after spending the night at the hospital, Alaric handled the discharge paperwork and drove Chelsea back to the Colon family villa.
When she stepped through the familiar door, the house already felt like a stranger. The pain was numb now, replaced with a cold kind of clarity.
She ignored the butler and the housemaids‘ questions and went straight to the bedroom. Quietly, methodically, she pulled out her suitcase from the closet and began packing.
te in this house.
She didn’t want to spend another minute
This room, this villa–it had once held all her love for Magnus.
But it had also stored all of his lies.
Once everything was packed, she took one last look around the room she’d lived in for three years.
Then she turned away and walked out, never looking back.
Alaric was waiting outside. Together, they left the Colon residence.ll
At the airport, just before boarding, Chelsea pulled out her phone. She sent Magnus one final message–along with a scheduled video upload.
Then she turned off the phone and tossed it in the trash.!!
Chelsea: Magnus, if you ever find out the truth behind that video, will you still love Sabrina?]
As the plane lifted off, the city lights below flickered to life.
But the light in Chelsea’s heart quietly went out for good.”
From this moment on, she and Magnus would never cross paths again.
