“You are my moon, my wife. I’ll grant you anything you want. I only ask that you don’t leave me!“}
“Pfft-”
Seeing that I wasn’t moved in the slightest and instead was laughing softly with my hand covering my mouth, Michael froze, utterly dumbfounded.
I met his lost, soul–crushed gaze, and with a calm expression, I said, “Michael, I already have someone who truly loves me, and I love him as well. He is my husband, Bryson Mateo.”

“Ashlyn, I beg you, look back one last time at my true heart…”
The pitiful, desperate cries of Michael echoed in my ears, but I didn’t turn around. Instead, I snuggled closer to Bryson, who was sweetly smiling at me.}
“Hubby, crazy people are so scary. Please take me away.“}]
Bryson walked briskly out of the chapel, gently placing me in the passenger seat of the sports car. “Wife, let’s elope.”

With a smile in my eyes, I leaned comfortably on Bryson’s shoulder.
Letting him floor the gas pedal, we sped toward our true happiness.>
