Jeffry handcuffed Lidia’s hands and pulled her out of the car.
“Jeffry, let me go.”
Her throat was dry from crying so much and she prayed for that slightest possibility.
Jeffry turned on the flashlight and pushed her into the gloomy old house.
“Lidia, I love you. When I get the documents to return to Ireland tomorrow, we can go home. I’ll have to let you stay here for one night.” “I don’t want to leave here,” Lidia said in teary eyes.

Peter broke into the room, kicked Jeffry away, hugged Lidia in his arms and patted her body which was trembling with fear.”
The police quickly came in and controlled Jeffry.”
“Lidia, why? Why did you give up on me?“}
