Five days later, Calvin returned with Rosa,
As soon as she entered the door, Shyla’s attention was immediately drawn to the dazzling necklace around her neck

Shyla stumbled to her feet amidst a sea of sympathetic gazes, only after the two individuals had disappeared from sight.
When she arrived home after dealing with her wound, it was already 1 a m.
The doctor stitched her up with more than ten stitches, and then arranged for her to be hospitalized. However, she refused and came
back with some medicine.
Calvin had not returned yet.
She turned off the light and lay in bed, staring at the pitch–black ceiling, lost in thought

Suddenly, the living room light turned on
Calvin was reeking of alcohol as he stumbled up the stairs.
He did not go back to the bedroom, but walked to the farthest room, his former study, and gently pushed open the door.
