Yoel pressed his lips together and tried to explain to the red–haired man, “Your wife could have been saved by me. It was your so–called ‘friends‘ behind you who kept interfering, which led to the failed surgery. If you want to find someone to blame, it should be them.”
He paused before dropping an even more shocking truth. “And one more thing, your wife didn’t have a miscarriage that day. She was raped. I took a sample from her body for testing. The results showed that she was violated by five men and the DNA matches exactly with the five standing behind you.”
The first moment Yoel discovered this, he had already informed the red–haired man. But instead of listening, the man immediately tried to

Tommy immediately spat at Yoel in disdain and sneered. “You’re just trying to sow discord. My friends already told me that my wife accidentally fell down the stairs and miscarried. These guys have been through life and death with me. Do you really think they’d lie to me? I see what you’re doing. You just don’t want to take responsibility, so you’re making up this nonsense to destroy our friendship “2 Yoel let out a mocking laugh, as if he had just heard the biggest joke in the world. “You’re the dumbest person Ive ever met. You treat the very people who violated and framed your wife as your friends, while tying up the one person who actually tried to help you. If you don’t know how to use your brain, you might as well donate it.”
“You’re looking for death! Even at death’s door, you still dare to run your mouth?” Tommy was furious. He swung his fist and punched You!

Yoel’s face was struck to the side, blood seeping from the corner of his mouth. Yet, he acted as if he felt nothing, sneering coldly at Tommy. “If you’re going to kill me, just do it. Stop wasting time,”
These past days, he had been drowning himself in work, numbing his mind just to avoid thinking about Karen. But the moment he had any spare time, his thoughts would be completely consumed by her, no matter how hard he tried to suppress them.
There were moments when he nearly lost control and sent her a message, but then he would remember how she had been avoiding him ever since she learned about Jason. That thought alone was like a blade twisting in his heart, an unbearable pain that wrapped around him like a constricting python, suffocating him.8
He thought, maybe if he died, everything would finally come to an end.
Now that he had been kidnapped, this was the perfect opportunity to end it all. If he were gone, Karen wouldn’t have to struggle with her feelings anymore. She could let go and go back to Jason without hesitation.
At that thought, a sour sting crept into Yoel’s nose. He looked at Tommy and said, “Since you’ve already decided that I killed your wife, what are you waiting for? Just kill me. A life for a life.”
Tommy let out a cold laugh and landed another punch on Yoel before looking at him with a cruel smirk.
“My wife suffered on the operating table for three whole hours before she finally died. You think I’m going to let you off with a quick death? No way. I’m going to make you suffer even more than she did. And if I remember correctly… you have a wife too, don’t you? Her name is Tessa, right?”
At the mention of that name, Yoel’s expression changed instantly. His eyes locked onto Tommy, sharp and filled with fury !
“What are you planning to do?” His voice was low and dangerous. “I’m waming you, don’t you dare touch Tessa, or I’ll make sure you regret it.“!!
“Who dies and who lives isn’t decided yet,” Tommy sneered. “You tortured my wife to death, so il retum the favor in kind. I’ll make your wife suffer the same way, but I’ll do it right in front of you, so you’ll suffer even more than I did.”
He grinned wickedly and snapped his fingers. At his command, two of his lackeys dragged a woman out from the shadows.}
It was Karen.
Her eyes were shut tightly and she appeared to be unconscious.
Yoel’s heart dropped instantly Panic flooded his gaze. “Karen? Why is she here?”
“Obviously, we brought her here,” Tommy said, his voice dripping with malicious delight. “You kept accusing my friends of violating my wife Since you love slandering them so much, I figured wo should make your accusations a reality. I’ll let them ‘serve‘ your wife properly.

His laughter echoed through the empty warehouse
