My parents watched me as I walked inside. I saw the proud smiles on their faces and I knew I felt good. My self–confidence was back and I was ready to do some damage.
The following day I woke up early and took my time to get dressed. I wore very light makeup before I wore a black long dress in my wardrobe that had a slit up to my thigh. The dress hugged my body and brought out my curves exposing the right amount of cleavage.
Adam gasped when he saw me, “You look like you’re on a mission, sis.”
I chuckled, “Yes, I am ”
Adam handed me a car key. “Mom said to give you. They had a meeting at the office so they left early. Your driver is waiting for you downstairs.”
I hugged him, “Thanks, Adam.”
“Can I come along?” he asked.
“No, kiddo, it’s official business. Go play your game,” I said.

I got downstairs and handed the keys to the driver. My car was a beautiful black SUV and I got in beaming happily while slightly nervous.
Adam had reached out to Lance and the moment he heard it was his bride he accepted the meeting. We had scheduled the meeting in a private meeting room in a luxurious hotel
My car pulled up into the hotel and I glanced at my watch, I was thirty minutes late. I rode the elevator and arrived at the meeting room only to find it empty.
“I thought you’d run off again,” a husky voice said behind me
I turned to see Lance with his blue eyes and dark spiky hair, he looked more handsome than on the internet. His eyes were twinkling as he stared at me.

“Hello, Lance, I’m here to extend the marriage proposal from three years ago,” I said to him.
He entered the room and smiled, “Right down to business. No pleasantries or small talk about where and why
