Upon hearing this, I got furious “Linda, you are a family member, not a servant.”
I suppressed my anger and forced a smile. Then, I took Linda’s hand and opened the door.
When I opened the door, Olivia Hardy, my mother–in–law, yelled harshly, “You damn servant! Didn’t I tell you that you are not worthy to be in the same room with us? Get out of here!”
