Willow had no idea what was happening. She was at home applying ointment to her hickeys, feeling anxious and regretful. She had initially planned to marry Julian quickly after hearing about Hillary’s divorce, Desperate, she had resorted to a scheme, never expecting Julian to see through her tricks. Now, she was restless with regret
Still, there was a silver lining–Julian and Hillary were officially divorced. Since Julian loved her so much, she believed that as long as she played the victim and claimed she had no choice, he would indeed believe her.
After all, if he wasn’t going to marry Hillary, who else could he possibly marry besides her? She continuously reassured herself, while Charles on the side held a different view. He even wished that Julian and Willow would fall
out more severely.
Looking at the hickey on Willow’s body, the smile on his lips grew wider. He reached out and wrapped his arms

around her waist “Willow, so what if Julian found out? You don’t have to marry him. I can marry you instead.”
His voice was full of sentiment, but Willow scoffed and looked at him with disdain. “You? Do you really think I’d want to marry someone like you? I was just playing around with you. How come you actually took it seriously?”
Charles’s expression twisted for a moment and his eyes filled with humiliation. Then the door was kicked down the next second, as a bunch of men in black rushed in and grabbed them both
Charles panicked and tried to run, but Willow’s eyes lit up when she recognized the leader of the group. He was one of Julian’s men. She stepped forward eagerly. “Did Julian send you to get me?”
A second later, two men seized her. The leader spoke coldly, “The boss ordered us to bring you back.”
Both of them were instantly alarmed. Willow was in disbelief. “No, that’s impossible. Julian wouldn’t do this to me! If you dare lay a finger on me, I’ll tell him and you won’t get away with it!”
The leader remained expressionless and simply spoke into his phone. “Mr. Cook, we’ve got the person. However,
there’s another man with Miss Scott.”
Half an hour later, Willow was dragged in front of Julian. A look of disbelief crossed his face when he observed their unkempt condition. Julian had once thought that seeing her like this would hurt him–after all, he had chased after her for so many years
Unfortunately, no. The shock quickly turned into disgust in just a few seconds. Julian felt it was utterly filthy and even the air seemed to be contaminated. His expression turned icy–cold as his eyes fell on the man covering his
face. “Hold him down, I want to see who it is.”
The moment the man was forced to reveal himself, Julian froze. He had never imagined that the person colluding
with Willow was none other than Charles–his childhood friend.
He recalled that he had once asked Charles to send Hillary home. Charles had assured him that he did, but Hillary never returned. He didn’t think much of it, assuming Hillary was just throwing a tantrum. It was later that Hillary encountered those terrible events.
Now, seeing these two before him, Julian suddenly realized that they must have been in cahoots all along and he had actually delivered Hillary right into their hands. The thought sent a shockwave through him as if someone was hammering his heart, the pain almost unbearable.
Julian’s gaze darkened further as he looked at them. The more his heart ached, the wider the smile on his lips
became. “Good, very good.”
Willow had never seen him like this before. A chill ran down her spine and she felt an overwhelming fear wash
over her. Her hands clenched around her sleeves as tears streamed down her face. “Julian, are you mad at me?”
Julian didn’t reply. His eyes held nothing but disdain as if she were nothing more than trash on the side of the
road.
Willow’s eyes reddened. “Julian, I’m sorry! It was all my fault! Charles forced me into this! I’m just a weak woman. I couldn’t fight back. I was so scared and I was afraid of losing you, so I faked our night together. Julian, I did it
because I love you too much.”
Charles, who had initially wanted to defend her, exploded with fury upon hearing this. “Willow! You were the one who seduced me first! Do you think no one knows how shameless you were in my bed?”
Willow’s face was filled with terror as she tried to crawl towards Julian, but Julian’s men grabbed her after a few steps. “Miss Scott, Mr. Cook has severe mysophobia. Please keep your distance.”
Charles’s face was dark with anger. He directly took out his phone and played a video. “Willow, it was you who
forced me to do this.”
Sultry voices echoed from the phone. Willow’s eyes widened in disbelief as she looked at Charles, “Charles, your actually recorded a video, huh? How dare you!”
Charles sneered. “Luckily, I had a backup plan. I originally didn’t want to use it, but you forced my hand.
