No more time? Hillary didn’t want to figure out what he meant. She simply told him calmly, “You still have a

A shadow flickered across Julian’s eyes. He looked at her and whispered, “Hillary, I can’t turn back anymore.”
Since reasoning with him was useless, Hillary chose to ignore his presence. She continued to eat and drink as she waited for someone to rescue her. Julian stood not far away, watching her with a smile. It was as if just looking
at her filled him with contentment.
One day, he said, “When all of this is over, this villa will be yours. I prepared it carefully, just for you. After I’m

Hillary didn’t understand what he meant until she overheard a phone call he made. The voice on the other end of the call was laughing. “My dear brother, once I find you, the entire Cook’s property will be mine.”

Not long after, Julian took out a diamond ring and tried to place it on her finger. His dark eyes gleamed with unreadable emotion as he studied her for a few moments before smiling. “I knew it would suit you perfectly.”
Hillary lowered her gaze, her expression indifferent as she removed the ring. Julian tried to stop her, but the ring slipped from her grasp, drawing a thin cut across his face before falling to the ground.
The man was stunned. Hillary remained unmoved, her expression icy and disgusted as she looked at him. She spoke only one sentence. “Julian, you’re disgusting.”
Contrary to her expectations, Julian didn’t get angry. He simply picked up the ring and put it back on her finger “Hillary, don’t hate me.”
Before Hillary could say anything, he suddenly leaned in and kissed her lips. It was an innocent kiss devoid of any lust. He touched her lips briefly and then pulled away. The movement was so swift that Hillary didn’t even have time to react. She clenched her fists, her teeth gritted in anger. “Stay away from me.”
Julian ignored her words and became even more clingy, much to Hillary’s annoyance. In a moment when she wasn’t looking, his gaze dimmed. He murmured under his breath, “Don’t worry, soon… you won’t have to see me anymore.”
They stayed in the villa together for nearly ten days. Hillary was surprised that no one had come looking for her She couldn’t figure out how Julian had managed to hide her away so well.
Every time he got too close, she couldn’t help but snap at him, demanding he leave. This time was no different. She frowned in disgust, not wanting to see him for even a second longer.
However, the man who usually obeyed her words and left didn’t submit this time. Instead, he grasped her hand tightly, their fingers intertwined.
Hillary didn’t understand what Julian was trying to do. She only noticed that his gaze carried a trace of longing and reluctance. His voice was hoarse, tinged with a quiet sigh. “Do you know how much I wish time could stop at this moment? Whatever you want, I’ll give it to you.”
