After saying that, she smiled, started the car, and drove away
The rain kept falling, Catherine was soaked through, and she returned to the villa in a sorry state.
The phone rang, it was the school teacher calling.
“Catherine, have you decided on that scholarship opportunity? Are you really going to give it up?
Upon hearing the sigh in the teacher’s voice, Catherine’s scattered mind finally snapped back to attention.
She shook her head, looked at the heavy rain outside the window, and whispered, “No more.”
