that her son had stabbed me to deal with it.
Now, this time, I wasn’t the one being stabbed, and Rachel was thinking clearly.
Pretending realization had just dawned on me, I exclaimed, “So you set me up to keep the money from going back to Mrs. Rachel Miller’s family?!”
I shouted, crouching on the floor in apparent despair, right by a microphone that
broadcasted my words throughout the venue.
