Chapter 67
After Regina finished brushing her teeth, Stephen gently turned her shoulders toward him and carefully wiped her face with a damp towel.
The gesture was so natural that it almost felt practiced.
Regina frowned, confused. “You’re not my attending physician. Why are you so worried about my wound? It’s not like it’s going to bother you.”
Stephen paused briefly, glancing at her with a touch of awkwardness. Pressing a bit harder as he wiped her face, he huffed, “What would you know? We doctors have our own way of doing things!”
Regina said nothing, quietly letting him continue.
The way he meticulously wiped her face made him seem as though he were disinfecting her, his movements gentle yet precise.
In that moment, she felt like a cub being gently groomed by a protective lioness.
Regina closed her eyes without protest. Are all the doctors here this attentive like you?
Stephen paused, searching for the right words, “Of course not. We just felt bad about what we said yesterday, so the three of us decided to apologize
He looked at Regins tentatively. “Am I getting a bit too close?”
She was someone he’d just met, yet he cared for her so intimately, kind of completely ignoring personal boundaries.
But he was genuinely curious to see if Regina’s Humanity could increase due to someone else’s actions.
This was crucial for his observations!
Liam and Julian walked into the ward, each carrying their belongings. They arrived just in time to catch Stephen asking Regina such a question. The two of them curiously wandered over to the bathroom door to watch the scene unfold.
Instead of answering Stephen, Regina leaned back and asked while she comfortably closed her eyes, “Is this how moms usually take care

Stephen froze for a moment, his movements growing a bit awkward. “Well… sort of;
Liam suppressed a laugh and leaned closer to Julian, whispering, “Do you think she’s treating Stephen Hike a mom?”
Julian leaned against the door, a faint smirk playing on his lips.

Stephen caught the teasing looks from his brothers and felt his face flush with embarrassment. He couldn’t even bring himself to lift his head. And he actually thought this was charming!
With: a reluctant sigh, he finally straightened up. “Alright, all done.”
Regina glanced at herself in the mirror. Her face was spotless, perfectly clean.
With a cheerful smile, she said, “Thank you. This is the first time someone has ever wiped my face like this.”
When she was a child, she would often see other mothers gently wiping their children’s mouths with tissues
She’d never known what i felt like.
Now she did.
[Regina
Mischell 3 Humanity]
Stephen froze, utterly stunned. “What?!
Was she moved by hun? How did her Humanity increase by three all at once?
Stephen was caught off guard. As Regina brushed past him, a warm, giddy feeling crept into his chest, and he could

Three points!
Stephen proudly waved his phone at Julian and Liam. Three points up!”
Let’s see how you two compare! He thought with a smug grin.
After confirming last night that Regina’s Humanity could actually increase, they all became a bit eager to give it a try.
They would like to see whose method would work best in earning her points.
Of course, there was nothing at stake.
It was just that Regina’s current condition was too… tempting to ignore.
Liam, let out a disdainful snort, walking over to Regina’s bedside. “Haven’t had breakfast yet, have you? I brought you breakfast”
With a snap of his fingers, the assistants outside swiftly entered, carrying tray after tray of breakfast dishes. In no time, the table before Regina was piled high with an array of lavish meals.
Regina could only stare at the mountain of food in stunned silence before turning her gaze to Liam in disbelief.
Liam sat across from Regina in a crisp white shirt, completely at ease. “Dig in. Whatever you want.”
Regina blinked, unsure how to respond.
Since yesterday, she’d noticed that everyone here was surprisingly kind to her.
