neurosurgery.

Upton didn’t refuse. He had hundreds of books delivered to me.
From then on, I stopped causing trouble with him and spent every day immersed in the materials, studying with complete dedication.
No one understood why I wanted to read books on brain surgery, and Upton couldn’t understand it either.
He tentatively asked me, “Are you feeling uncomfortable with your head?”
I ignored him.
Upton probed again, “Hailey, do you have a friend abroad who suffered a head injury?”
I suddenly looked up and asked, “What did you say? A head injury? What’s his name?”
I jumped to my feet, excitedly grabbing Upton’s hand. “Upton, do you know something? Tell me, tell me now.”
Upton frowned in confusion.
