Chapter 8
Until this day, Upton didn’t go to the company.
Donna came. She must have known I was here.

She looked very unhappy and didn’t enter the house. Donna glanced at me bandaging the stray dog and nearly got into a fight with Upton.
No woman would allow another woman to live in her fiancé’s
home.
But this time Upton didn’t unconditionally comply with Donna. His attitude was cold.
Then Donna followed Upton upstairs.
Through the villa’s glass windows, I could see them upstairs. I didn’t think much of it and continued petting the stray dog.
Half an hour later, I walked into the villa and happened to see Donna coming down the stairs.
I walked straight in without avoiding her.
Sure enough, she slapped me and cursed, “Bitch.”
Donna’s voice was loud, and Upton, standing at the top of the stairs, witnessed this scene.

Chapter 8
I looked up at Upton upstairs, then slapped Donna hard in
return.
I said, “I just want to make you miserable. You don’t know that I’ve been sleeping in his bed all these days.”
Sure enough, Donna was so angry she could barely stand. She ran off, completely unable to accept this.
I sneered coldly toward the stairs, “She’s the one who deserves to die. I really want to beat her to death.”
Upton narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing me.
I waited a few seconds, but he surprisingly didn’t come down to punish me.
I took the disinfectant and went out to continue caring for the stray dog.
